It's a constant problem - someone is always trying to spin or present out of context. At the end of the day what matters is real actual threat or acts of violence.
All this sensitivity and PC culture does is create the perception of racism/hate by constantly reinforcing the idea. It creates friction that wouldn't normally have been present. Which, of course, is what it was intended to achieve in the first place.
Maybe I wasn't clear. This is a noose. Not somebody saying "coloured" instead of "black" or chairman instead of chairperson.
A noose is an instrument of torture and death. And hanging outside the door near a flag that was used by people who committed such acts to intimidate people that would be targets themselves is a THREAT.
And why is THEIR free speech? Would they deliver similar threats of "Kill the Cracker!" or "Death to the Infidel" next to some extremist wackjob rag of a flag, then the fucking FBI would be throwing them into Gitmo.
Moreover, it would lead peaceful people into conflict: see Golden dawn and Greece for that happening right now.
And THAT is perhaps the hope of putting a noose on the front door. Sneaky snide cowardly act to frighten the mrs next door and his neighbours.
Cunt.
I can understand your point of view Mikey - but my life experiences dealing with bullys and retards is to deal with it in different ways. Never give in to fear, offer kindness in return for hate, never descend to their level, laugh about it - and if all else fails ignore it.
I know it isn't always that simple - and can be a hell of a lot toughter and in some cases downright dangerous. Horses for courses,,,,,
ETA: Just spotted the "Cunt" at the end

Tell me it wasn't for me....self esteem crumbling, must - eat -
