Well well well, it seems that the US-UK machine is about to dismantle even the most basic of protections for the civilian.

The military soon to be totally above the law. What could go wrong?

Yeah, because why the hell should these barbarians be expected to exercise any regard for human decency.

I thought this was already the case. This won't make much practical difference to how they behave, they'll just be punished less often.

Once the word war is mentioned all else goes out the window regardless.

You hear expressions like 'collateral damage' or 'friendly fire' or 'unavoidable casualties' and other such bollocks.

Make the most well armed section of the populace exempt from 'human rights'?

What about the Geneva Convention?

I thought that it was more that soldiers were now not to be protected by the human rights act not that they no longer have to adhere to it. maybe I'm reading it all worng.
