My car got covered in redisue left over from the rain the other day. Really dirty stuff it was.
A mate reckons the news mentioned something about sand from the sahara travelling on the wind :conf:

Yeh I got that too.
The only smog I can ever remember experiencing was in L.A. It was an instant headache so I hope it doesn't start arriving here on a regular basis.

It's a normal eggbox sky today in Manchester. It could be pollutants... it could just be regular clouds!
Doesn't seem any different than any other day.

Is it bad elsewhere then?

Right now the sky is milky here and its quite gusty too.
I'm an early bird, and this morning the sunrise was dirty grey looking with very cloudy skies, but not clouds, more like dust clouds.

Looking at it now it does look like the after effects of a nuclear war or something..... but watching the news it looks really grim elsewhere, particularly in East Anglia.

I am in Cambridge, and noticed all the neighbours cars well covered in sandy stuff, didn't notice it on mine though 'cos I haven't washed the poor thing for about 2 yrs. Also very murky and misty all day, it was the same in Northampton this afternoon too.

I had a tough time getting my breath today and I'm not a toker - but I do smoke "Organic" roll ups. Government approved of course. :D

No red sand drifts though, but I did find a fragment of Tuareg goat shit on my wiper blades. Probably, by the smell, a Nubian goat; Kimo Sabi.
