When I go on a beach I expect, at the very minimum, a mile between myself and any other human being...preferably so far away that they are beyond the visible horizon. However I can handle summertime beach gatherings as long as they keep the hell away.....

OK, so far it looks like EMSC had it correct at calling this latest EQ to be out at sea along the same fault, USGS calculated it (because of the P&S waves) to be 40km and inland from the fault....so NOT the epicentre on land.

Further, this is, by a majority consensus, 'something new' and NOT an after shock.
Given its intensity compared to the pre quakes which resulted in the 8.3...this could be a fore shock to something bigger than the other nights 8.3......sorry Chand....the only 'good' news for you is that the EQ's seems to be migrating north....basically, what is happening in Chile atm is re-writing the laws of EQ behaviour
