Yes, our own revolting and disgusting Maggie Thatcher, apparently the worst prime minister in 100 years (and the rest!):

www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world/margaret-th...BBoPWjQ&ocid=UE07DHP

Margaret Thatcher has been named the worst Prime Minister of the last 100 years, closely beating fellow Conservative David Cameron in a new survey of leading historical writers.

The Historical Writers’ Association (HWA) asked its members to give their views on the last 19 Prime Ministers, in a survey released to mark Theresa May’s 100th day in office on 22 October.

Baroness Thatcher, who died in 2013, came first with 24% of the vote, closely followed by Mr Cameron (22%) and Neville Chamberlain (17%).

Tony Blair took 11% to leave him in fourth spot, while Gordon Brown and Sir Edward Heath were tied for fifth place with 8%.

However, former Liberal Democrat leader Lord Ashdown disagreed with the poll, claiming Baroness Thatcher was a “great and necessary destroyer”.

It's a pity no one was so honest in describing her or her vile purposes during the voting campaigns.

And the deadly murderous Tony Bliar came fourth. really? Fourth? Joint first with his vile idol, I would argue.

Bizarre innit. For different reasons Blair is deffo on a par with Thatcher. As for Camoron? He was just crap surely.

Maybe it's because I was older when he was 'in power' and thus understood what was going on better (although I fully understood Thatcher was reviled at the time), but I consider Blair worse. Thatcher was definitely involved with some insidious and damaging things, but Blair would equally have done those things, also did far worse, and fully understood what he was doing was wrong. There is nothing he wouldn't be willing to do or say; I don't think that is true of Thatcher.
The true measure of a man is not his intelligence or how high he rises in this freak establishment. The true measure of a man is this: how quickly he can respond to the needs of others and how much of himself he can give - Philip K. Dick.

I do believe Thatcher was as bad, just in a different way - a "domestic" way; and she paved the way for the like of Bliar. She covered for paedophiles; she destroyed not only industries, but the very communities that had built up around them and that, to this day, have never recovered; she bragged about there being no society now (after she had ensured there wasn't); she was as quickly into war as Bliar (although at that time, it was a smaller, lower level war).

Like I say, I'd put them at joint first - monsters cut from the same cloth.

wtf is Paddy Pantsdown babbling on about?
Was there some requirement for 'a great and necessary destroyer' in society? What for? What did we need destroying and why was it necessary Paddy?

Blair was a product of Thatcher in many ways so I'm happy with Thatcher at the top of the evil list.
