Big thanks to the Sanctum crew and the Sanctum community for coming together to create this new section. I hope it's the start to some great creative expression and admiration. I'll start things off by sharing some of my drawings and paintings. :D

This first one is an old charcoal drawing.

Picture087

This next one is a watercolor painting.

Picture019c

This drawing was inspired by a series of dreams that involved faery folk.

Lol, this one makes me laugh. I ran out of watercolor paper, but wanted to paint anyway. I used sketch paper, not expecting to come out very well. I was pleasantly surprised with the results considering the paper isn't designed to handle watercolor.

History doesn't repeat itself, uninformed people repeat history.

To all progressive endeavors great or small, come unforeseen benefits on a scale larger than most give pause or contemplation of.

Wow those are gorgeous - particularly loving the watercolour (second image) it should be on my wall!
Sometimes, if you stand on the bottom rail of a bridge and lean over to watch the river slipping slowly away beneath you, you will suddenly know everything there is to be known.

Do it! While you're at it, maybe you'll have the desire to create something? I've always found it relaxing. Like a form of not-so-boring meditation.

I have days like that too. Sometimes I just feel compelled to draw or paint. I guess it's all about the mood I'm in.

This I painted for a friends mother whom has a brain tumor. She used to be a hippy way back in the day so when I gave the pic to her, her face lit up and she said: "It's just like Magic Mushrooms" lol :chuckle: :D

This I did for my sensei when I was doing Muay Thai, it's mostly acrylics too with black marker and the dragon and white outlines are done with correction fluid
