You may have a point mart, but you could also be forgiven for thinking that this is a new thing. Imo, although I'm not that old, it has always been so.

In a universe of duality, of which this is seemingly one, there has to be light and dark, up and down, "good" and "evil". It's all about balance round these parts and apparently, that is supposed to be part of the fun of being 'here'. It's really not that bad when you get the hang of it. If you concentrate, just a little, you can even avoid the swing of the pendulum too far to the 'negative' if you really want to. Something I have found to be helpful is just not paying so much attention to those things around you that you may consider to be 'negative'.

I know that's easy for me to say, but I really struggled with it to begin with. It simply doesn't interest me so much any more, although I am perfectly aware that it all still goes on. It always has and always will though, so try not to lose any sleep over it. Just keep doing what you're doing.
What we are today comes from our thoughts of yesterday, and our present thoughts build our life of tomorrow: Our life is the creation of our mind.

no doubt you are right and it has always been this way, seems to be getting worse though.

I heard that about duality and maintaining the balance a lot, if that's true maybe human consciousness is changing as a result of the increased overt criminality and chaos.

thanks abs :)

i dont think at any time everyone is just going to be all spiritual with rainbow farts and unicorn cakes. but you know, you make reality for yourself and cut your own path. so your outlook on life alters everyone else, or your perception of them. so maybe if you get all spiritual and down with your groovy chakras, you'll see things in a better light and it will be less about them and more about you.

Spiritual awakening, waking up, enlightenment, a shift in consciousness, dropping your drawers and saying "kiss me ass"... whatever you wanna call it, as long as it is happening and less and less people are taking shit off the government/control/imprisonment systems... yes it is happening I believe and I hope it continues to happen until the few outnumber the powerful.

I hope it will be that simple Cantata... sooner or later the masses have to wake up at least a little and see what is right in front of them, then it's just a matter of time until we take over :D (or die trying :hmm: )

I think more or less, that everyone essentially thinks they are "awake" and "right".

All Christians of all Denominations "know" that their way is right and if others "prayed" hard enough they would be given the same answer by the Sky God. The Muslims know Allah leads them to truth- I wont even mention the Joos :sorry:

All Democrats know that their politics and correct and the Republicans are misguided- But the Republicans know the Democrats are uneducated in the ways of the real World and the Libertarians will claim "truth" to their philosophy's.

Everyone having a Spiritual awakening will merely be everyone agreeing. =P

I dont think its going to ever happen and I feel that we are all asleep in our own egos and experiences. EDIT: I am including myself here. Dreaming quite contently in my own truth and awakness.

It's all energy extraction, and at the lower the level the better. (emotional energy).

So make the herd more and more depressed, create more negativity among them, more low-level energy.

Maybe all this 2012 shit is true, and world is gonna die.......not so sure myself,

BUT, if the ones "feeding from our energy" knew their farm-world was about to be blown to bits....they would be going for broke to pump out as much production as they could, in the short time they had left!!!!!

It's interesting that I.Q.'s have been rising, they are just tests for pattern recognition, vocabulary and logical problem solving but as you said it's a good indicator that there is something happening to human consciousness.
I don't know of any way to test the creative aspects of consciousness so it would be hard to find out if there is a change there, seems likely though.

I think i'm coming round to the idea that you are right, human consciousness is influenced by some external force and it does seem to go through cycles.
Isn't this something close to what Terence Mckenna believed with his Timewave Zero theories?
I haven't looked into it much so I could be way off.

Thanks Mart,

You're right about the IQ tests. Normally I don't put much credence in them either. The important part is that these restandardizations aren't isolated to a few countries. Even more intriguing is that this is still happening despite some obvious attempts to dumb down general populations in certain countries. Now that would be interesting, a creative test. I like that, Mart. Society puts too much emphasis on the left brain, and not nearly enough on the right brain. The left brain deals with logic and tangibility, while the right deals in abstracts and potentialities. An embracing focus on both could be monumental on a social level. If I'm understanding you, you're indirectly wondering/postulating if the development of creative right brain on a larger social scale may have something to do with rising intelligence and conscious awareness? I believe there were a few points in history which nurtured both cerebral worlds, and both are regarded highly. They would be the Renascence and the 60's era. Maybe we're on the cusp of a neo-Renascence? Maybe it's something grander?

It's bigger than being socially and politically open to new aged ideas, alternative info, and healthy living. I do think it may go along with the timewave zero material you mentioned, as well as the many different ancient texts that focus heavily upon this material. I look at the megalithic structures they left behind, structures that we would struggle with today, and think that they weren't simply focusing on this material because they didn't have an Xbox or cable television. It's certainly not about a fiery explosive Michael Bay scenario either. I think the point that was trying to be made was this, Our world will end, not THE world. There's a difference there. What I mean by that is our common perception of conscious existence may make a leap, completely destroying old social constructs and pointless redundancies. I could be wrong, but everything I've been seeing in relation to this points toward that as being a strong potential reality.

I think that mind control is complete when people are fooled by awakening, shift of consciousness, ascension or another new age BS not seeing that the world is totally failing apart. I see it as an adult version of Cinderella story. Good excuse to be Peter Pan forever.
On the other hand, I would be far from denying the influence of, let's say, interdimensional entities. I don’t believe in John Lash’s interpretation. He doesn’t want to say what scholars who studied Gnosticism in depth were saying. Mythology and ancient religions all over the world are taking about external influences. Only name differ.

Well to be honest it hadn't occured to me that a rise in creativity was the driving force behind the change, but it's possible, there has been a rise in creativity in line with the internet.
I was just thinking that if the left brain seemed to be improving on average then the right brain should be too, but our society isn't interested in the right brain so it's hard to register any change.

I hope you are right about the future, I can't guess what will happen, if Terrence Mckenna was right then this year everything that can happen will happen, whatever that means :umm:

I'm sure the universe knows what it's doing :hookah

Yeah I've sort of come round to the idea of these other entities that exist on some other plane of existence,
It was the information about DMT experiences and the same entities keep cropping up, that coupled with others research on shamanistic cultures again finds exactly the same entities.

Just got off the phone with my friend earlier and we were having the most delightful conversation about similar things.

Funny that. :chuckle:

We were discussing the possibility of the 2012 whole 'awakening' thing being a part of a Renaissance dawning upon us, or being symbolic of that. I would like to think it is and would love to see mankind reach the highest potentials of creativity. maybe the hippie era was the spark for an age like that? I don't know.

It seems we have been living in a male hierarchical society that thrives on logic and our media reflects it. I wonder if the two hemispheres also are based on a male and female energy, hmm. :hmm:

Anyway, the mainstream media rarely promotes nurturing, empathy, peace and creativity. We are not encouraged to embrace that side of life, but rather to sop up all the war and destructive shown to us when we switch on the propaganda box.

Whether or not it is deliberate, it has definitely been having an impact on the minds of our youth. But I have hope and I see that many people are beginning to seek elsewhere for their 'entertainment' and learning to appreciate nature and people again. It has been subtle and I am looking forward to an explosion of all kinds of possibilities with our creativity and with our world.

I'm deeply suspicious of the whole 60's thing tbh, it's just got too much Tavistock / CIA / OTO all over it

I wouldn't necessarily descibe it as a male heirarchical society, more a base consciousness society
I don't really like those divide and conquer terminologies.

You are right about the energies I think, the right brain is feminine and the left brain masculine, illumination comes from the unity of the two, I think that's what the goal of Kabbalism is.

Well, reaching high potential is a new age propaganda. Very convenient to keep people in line dreaming that they will reach heights….without doing anything. Well, it is Peter Pan or Cinderella mentality that those who rule us want to impose upon us. Unfortunately, many chose illusion......it tastes better and no any effort is required.

I am surprised that you still believe it. Reaching a primal creativity has been my passion and interest but it is not easy and requires lots of emotional work.

There were subversive elements no doubt. It's my personal opinion, that they were developed to try and steer a potentially monumental cultural shift. The era wasn't about drugs at first. It was more about conscious development, tuning out from officialdom, and reconnecting with the roots/essence which defines a person. It wasn't until the drugs started to be introduced that things took a turn that was easily controlled.

Having had extensive conversations with Mountain before, I can tell you she doesn't think we're going to turn into living gods or have all the knowledge in the Universe over night because of a specific date. That is new aged propaganda, though it has nothing to do with the actual tangible increases in conscious development. It's not something that happens all at once. My proof, the Flynn effect, and the fact that there are have been more cultural and technological advances in the period of some 262 years than the entire history of our species combined.

People are actually doing things as well. I'll direct your attention to the global protests, health revolutions, etc. Yes negativity does still have some prominence, and elements of society seem to mirror Orwell's 1984. That's exactly how the Renaissance began though. It wasn't exactly a picnic before. The previous era wasn't coined The dark ages for no reason. What followed was a era that still has influence to present day.

Don’t get me wrong. I am the last person who wouldn’t want change. We need change so badly! Yes we technologically advanced but let’s look at some statistics. Today, 20 million in US suffer from major depression. For all anxiety disorders combined, six months prevalence are 9% and lifetime prevalence rates are 15%. We can’t forget about all kinds of addiction. 51% of married couple divorce and the stress resulting from divorce is a second after losing a loved one. We know well how stress affects physical heath. But it is a top of the iceberg. Do we really advanced? Does a technological progress really matter when society stops functioning?
I didn’t talk about new age ascension or shift of consciousness. I wouldn’t waste my time but I talked about reaching higher potential and it is a new age propaganda.
I agree that people start to wake up. It is a high time as thing got out of hand and everything is falling apart but the road is very long and people prefer to feed their mind with illusions rather than face a reality and look for solutions.

Oh yes, I agree with you dear Mart on the 60s era and I am suspicious, too. I think we both are familiar with Mr. Dave McGowan's research into the Laurel Canyon residents and their connections to the military industrial complex and how suddenly many 'entertainers' all flocked to the area at the time from many places calling themselves musicians and hippies. I think it was to counter the genuine and real revolution that was taking place, so it was infiltrated and poisoned, literally, with lots of drugs, booze and 'groovy' songs.

Like you, I do not like divide and conquer terminologies. I am just calling it like I see it. Someone somewhere does not like the energy of the feminine and all that comes with it. Our dear Earth herself has been like a bloody altar for bloodshed. I believe there are those who are orchestrating the chaos in our world know full well of what they are doing and understands the use of yin and yang energy and they want to extinguish one and misuse the other.

I tend to agree with you on what you have stated, especially your thoughts about the Renaissance era. I find that information is the key to liberating the minds of the masses and this seems to be the beginning of the age for that, too.

I can attest that about ten years ago, there was not much information to be found on the internet alone. Since then there has been an ever increasing amount of people who are seeking truth, spreading awareness and there are those that I deem the most courageous, for breaking free from a control most of us cannot fathom, and they have been risking their lives to expose people in high places and their shady doings.

Even though throughout history we have had many revolutions, seems to me there has not been a time quite like this one. It feels groundbreaking. Meanwhile, people are returning to their spirits and embracing what they have been swayed from. Humanity has hit the fork in the road and many are realising, that other direction is taking them further away from their purpose although its a scenic route. We can create and pave our own road, instead of following someone else's. We are all Masons and that is one of the biggest secrets, in my honest opinion, life is what we make it.

I am not a new-agey type person but I have always been very optimistic. I am willing to listen to any news, but good news always gets special attention from me. I encourage everyone to use their intuition, its a wonderful gift. And to observe the silent ripples of the waters because there have been many. The global protests are an example of that.

Thanks Mrindigo for speaking on my behalf. I appreciate that very much :)
