I think conversations should end of their own volition and that there are always better ways to end a subject, that you are weary of, then saying "I am sick of this conversation". It just doesn't sound very nice, Andy!!! It makes you sound like a dictator! :umm: :sorry:

I don't think the polls tell us anything since most of the people who clicked on this thread are the ones who are in agreement with the title and 17 people is not an accurate cross section of the members here.

I am done talking about DIF, but I am not done listening to others..... I am nosey like that.

Nosey sod. :coffee:

What she said...

So you also think that ANY topic should be allowed? :)

Careful now... lol. I'd rather people be a little more precise tbh, I've nothing against all sorts of topics, including intelligent debate about zionism which boots started (thanks boots) but I think I would have some trouble with certain topics I'd rather not mention!
And I'm on about some stuff far worse than just yakking on about DIF lol :p

Now you have made that clear but you didn't before as nosey has implied that total free speech is wanted. ;)

I'm OK with free speech so long as its tempered with common sense and I'll always make that very clear.
There's nowhere in our guidelines that says we support total and utter free speech.
We also do not support threatening people with legal action and using our forum as a means of communicating that and trying to implicate the whole group in such silly behaviour.

This is true enough, which is where moderation would normally kick in, I guess. I see what you're saying completely in that regard. Should something like that arise, it really is all of our responsibilities to flag it with admin, and then they in turn cannot be accused of acting like dictators by taking action (although they probably would be by some), as it is something that members have complained about.

Long as it's all out in the open like this thread, I don't see an issue. That's how I see it anyway. This is OUR forum, after all.

I believe I made it clear in a previous post Andy re as long as guidelines are adhered to, but I can't be bothered to dig it out. I was more so agreeing with nosey that I am also nosey, and would like to get all up in people's bidness whenever I can. I also think people should not be afraid of posting about certain issues. If there is a problem, we can address it like adults as we have successfully managed to do so far here, imo.

G'day Andyh.

I'd state that I stand corrected ... but ... I'm not standing as I type this. So, I'll simply say thank you for correcting me.

Personally, I haven't voted on this issue, and I won't be doing so. Basically, it's because I see this as an argumentum ad populum related position. That some individuals have had enough of discussing a specific topic should in no way preclude others from discussing such a topic. For those not wishing to discuss a specific topic, simply don't do so ... heck, they don't even have to click on the link of the topic to start with, let alone become involved in the discussion by posting upon the thread.

As I noted to Curtaincat on the thread that I linked to in the previous post that I made on this thread, if I wasn't admin on the IL forum, I probably wouldn't have been involved in many of the DI / DI f related threads. In fact, I didn't even join the DI f because I 'believed' in what DI expressed ... far from it. I ended up joining the forum because I had come across a thread that someone had posted a question on that I could answer ... it's as simple as that. From there, I decided to stick around, not because of DI or the DI f, but because of the people that I connected with.

I did join this forum because I could see that some members were raising questions in relationship to some DI / DI f related material that I knew the answers to/for. Some information/topics are 'old news' to some, while for others it's 'brand shiny new'. If anyone is inquiring about an issue that I can respond directly to with an answer, or post a relevant link to answer that inquiry for them, I am more than willing to do so and see such as being helpful. Halting any discussion of such issues will only lead to ignorance of the relevant information that is required to make/base an informed decision upon.

Personally, I'd rather not stick my head in the sand, or my fingers in my hear while chanting 'la-la-la-la-la-la', about any issue whatsoever ... but hey, that's me (and I don't expect anyone else to hold the same position), and regardless of whatever the 'majority' think I am going to continue to make my own decisions ... which I choose to do from accessing all of the possible information that I can about the specific topic. In this way, I can come from a position where I can make/come to an informed decision based upon all of the relevant information available.

Anyway, thanks again for correcting me.
You can't reason someone out of a position they didn't reason themselves into.

Its simply about reiterating that this is a community run forum.
We do not have a rule anywhere that says we allow total free speech and the reasons for it should be very obvious.
I don't want to see this forum washed down the toilet by careless newcomers is all and again thats also the majority view which I can prove again if need be.

Your posts thus far have avoided DIF for the most part which is good to see and they are good content imho  .

The whole DIF debacle is what made this forum visible to many newcomers :)
Ironically thats great in a way and I guess we can thank :seanypat for that :D

Sounds like a thread for survival forum so :chuckle: Maybe we could suggest a virtual repair over there :)

It's just so contradicting to the message David Icke puts out when people in the conspiracy world can't get along well enough to talk on forums. If people wan't to argue with each other on message boards they need to first look in the mirror. Anyone who needs to get overly emotional by some words on a forum obviously has more serious personal issues. As for Sean & I Am, they both know David Icke is coming off a nice two year long wave from the lion sleeps no more video in Brixton Academy May 2010. Nothing should ever be deleted from these forums other than graphic videos & pics. Text is just text, if we can't talk about any topic as humans we fucking suck and I could care less in that case. The question for having multiple David Icke threads at SZ is there really is no need for more then one in this section and one in general. Let the people from this forum figure out a way to make this place unique in it's own way. Anyway you look at it is win vs win for Icke because he get's extra publicity either way. This Sanctum Zone forum already has a nice blue appearance and can be a getaway for the people from DIF who can only take so much dark fantasy. I wish both forums the best of luck. Might need to double post this in the general section thread.

I, for one, do not wish for any subject to be banned from discussion.
However I am dismayed at the level of obsession with DIF and the monotony of reading the same recycled shit here daily.

Get over it people you're smothering this site.
Honestly, it reads like an ex-wives and girlfriends bitchin' blog.

You're better than that.

OK we'll discuss armed rebellion, killing all pakis and jews in the UK by machine gunning them in football stadiums while we watch and instilling a benevolent dictator to impose some national socialism. Anyone who doesn't get a job gets their head chopped off :)

armed rebellion
Is an unfortunate option but one which has been forced into being more times than not, as the powerful tend not to give up their power without a fight.

killing all pakis and jews in the UK by machine gunning them in football stadiums while we watch
I would be interested in the justification(s) put forward for such an action as I am at a loss to imagine a single one.

instilling a benevolent dictator to impose some national socialism
I'm not convinced that 'benevolent' and 'dictator' sit comfortably in the same sentence but if you have a persuasive argument and candidate I'll listen and get back to you with my thoughts.

This proposal sounds very draconian at first scan but when you consider that many unemployed find themselves braindead, watching The Jeremy Kyle show each day, it may in fact be an option steeped in mercy.
