I think if people want to post on here they should join up first.

However, should the concensus go against me, then what Batou said goes for me too.

I just remembered that when Frog upgraded TZ to the latest kunena, the polls didnt transfer too well.

if the OP is edited, a new poll could be added... we are at a different place than a few months ago anyway.

i wont say anymore on the matter other than technical input, im not fussed either way.

I think it would be better to start the poll from scratch, since some of those who voted aren't even here now.

I was for, and still am, particularly since the facility is now in place to confine it to a section, and for posts to be vetted. With those provisos I don't see why anyone would object...but maybe they'll come up with reasons against that I've not thought of?

Web-bots aside, we seem to get plenty of viewers. Maybe some nice people would want to join if they got the chance to test the water as a guest first.

But (horrifyingly ) we'd have to decide beforehand, whether there's to be a time limit on voting, and whether a straight majority carries it - and if not, what margin.

I'm not generally in favour of it, but if it's confined to one section then that should be okay.

They should be able to post in Today's News, or General, or both.
It would be ironinc if guests could post in the Members Chat Area
