The "issue" for myself rick is that I joined the SZ all those months ago thinking it was one thing, then it appeared to become another (at which point I spat my dummy). It was kind of decided by the community that SZ would have moderators, I was perhaps the most vocal in disagreeing with that...

I'm not having a pop at the mods, they do a good job. Namely they don't really get moddy on our arses. They are just posters that clean up the odd bit of shit really. The fact they don't have to do a lot of modding kind of backs up my view that there's no need for mods at the SZ tbh

I've no issue with either of our current mods. I have a great deal of affection for both, I do see where Oi is coming from though.
Sometimes I can't fathom quite what the SZ is nowadays.

I personally feel an online forum that has a feel of community through responsibility will encourage more people to join that community as it will stand out as a model for moderation.
