There is something tearing at this forum for sure - but it is not socks, it is not as simple as that - it is us - our posting styles rubbing people up the wrong way - lack of respect shown to others and people being like dogs with bones putting notions of intent behind others words.

tbh it is the same shit that happens on every forum. We revert to type when cornered which ends up in a never ending shit fest of name calling insults and one up man ship.

I didn't even go into pointing out what is said in the rules, but I don't feel that the person(s) I pointed it out to paid any attention whatsoever.

The problem with an open forum is that it's open to immature idiots. This is the problem you always have. Read any forum, read some of the sporting forums out there, they're absolutely ridiculous. Obviously a great decision was made to invite me! But some of the other invitations were less well founded!

It was unrealistic to have an open forum and expect people to behave like adults. Many adults behave like children. IMHO there needed to be more quality control from day one. The way things have been run since, I've got no problem with. If people think the moderation has been draconian, all I can say is that I would have been considerably less tolerant with certain people, but I'm glad things have gone the way that they have because it shows a (baseless and ultimately incorrect!) faith in people's capacity to grow up.
