I'm only putting this up here as I've kinda promised a couple of people that I'd find the transcripts to the Icke/Adams courtcase, and after much trawling over at the ILF, I managed to find them again.

So Icke has no idea of what goes down on his forum? Yeah, this is from a few years back, but it is in Icke's own words that he goes through his website 'endless times'. And his forum is a part of that website, is it not?
(The statement being referred to is from page 130 of Icke_transcript_49_Icke_s_cross_examination and the question was:
Q. Okay. And on your website as recent as June of this year, did you not state that Royal Adams is your business partner, trusted friend, confidant, and he answers most of the business related questions regarding tours, seminars, publications, et cetera?)

So there you have it, straight from the horses mouth.

The quality of DIF has declined over the years; I don't know when the tipping point was exactly, but in recent months, it has morphed into something other than what it was originally intended to be. Nowadays, DIF has the feel more of a mainstream political discussion forum rather than an alternative conspiracy forum. I'll have more to say later, but it's clear that the quality of DIF has dipped sharply and perhaps irreversibly in favor of mainstream views.

On a more personal level, the decline of DIF and it's inherent corruption saddened me to the point that I nearly gave up on the conspiracy research and activist community.

David's always considered his own forum to be a bit of a bastard offspring; a necessary evil to generate revenue while he got along with the more noble task of enlightening himself and illuminating others along the way. He has taunted forum members on numerous occasions; making a point of it in his daylong talks. Yet, he never had a solution. Never sought to intervene or better the forum which was his namesake.

I do and don't understand his distance from his own forum. The constant injections of evil from dyed in the wool racists, the incessant negativity, most all of it shielded in anonymity, can prove toxic. Yet, to sweep it all under the rug not only allows the problems to fester, but have proven ultimately to spiral out of control.

At any rate: david has made his choice: the DIF will be left to it's own devices while he gets along with the REALLY important media project: PTV. This could prove to be a major miscalculation, esp. in this day and age.

Hey now, don't go giving up on activism because of someone like Icke.
I wouldn't describe him as an activist anyway personally.
Activism is something that has to come from you/me innit. It comes from within. Therefore the only thing that would make you give it up is if your cause/s were resolved.
