Ok, let's try to be serious and fair... What reason would Sean and I_am have to dodge any issues regarding hatred against the Jews towards "it's not racism, so it's a cool kind of hatred"? Does anyone really believe they don't know the difference between anti-Semitism and racism?

Then, what's the only answer left?

Look, Darketernal (a previous mod) has a post in another forum, about the time when they were banned for being against anti-Semitism, in which all mods were told: anti-Semitism is fine as long as it's masked as anti-Zionism... well, that has gone a step forwards and now hatred is fine (for not saying racism) as long as it's masked as anti-Semitism.

If anyone disagrees, I'm open to suggestions as to why they would be behaving in that way; any theory will do, just say it... for me, it's quite clear; simply because I can't find any other explanation.

Because he was persistent in us accepting that the official figures may not be accurate, I'm willing to accept that but it leaves me with the oft repeated question.

In my experience a certain type of person questions such 'facts'. As I've alluded to, I've yet to come across anyone demanding proof of Stalin's atrocities. And if 1 Jew or 6 million Jews, 1 gay or 6 million gays, 1 gypsy or 6 million gypsies were killed it was 1 too many. Why people obsess over 1 particular figure is bizarre to my mind.

I mean, I could be wrong -I've been wrong before-; but I simply can't think of any other explanation on why they would, not only allow anti-Semitism (which after all is indeed a right to "free speech"), but dodge the issues and protect those who repeatedly promote this kind of hatred.

I wonder if those who so rabidly support free speech also support the banning of people for the exercising of that right - and if not why they have not spoken out with such veracity on the very boards that opine so frequently that free speech is something they uphold....go figure...

As for I-ams' post and certain others made by sean of late have stated that hatred, stereotyping and incitement is not tolerated - which seems to suggest that anti semitism - at least overtly is now going to be removed - I do wonder however if they are purely removing offending posts - or removing and giving points for breaking the rules - the fact that certain people have managed to avoid the banhammer so long suggests to me that they purely remove the posts and 'protect' certain posters by not issuing points and subsequent bannings/suspensions.

It wans't this thread; I opened it as soon as they suspended me, and nothing changed. It was today's post on I_am and Sean dodging anti-Semitism towards "it's cool to hate the Jews because it's not racism"... it was posting that, and automatically get banned.

Had to be Sean or I_am (I also don't think mods can ban without giving a reason).
