@blue - brilliant!!
Sometimes, if you stand on the bottom rail of a bridge and lean over to watch the river slipping slowly away beneath you, you will suddenly know everything there is to be known.

Whatever that is.
I found out about this through personal experience with a psychopath first hand, when trying to figure out WTF was going on, didn't know it was called "TRIANGULATION"
It's a sick cycle of never-ending drama and manipulation.

Google: Idealize, devalue, discard.

It probably comes from this book, written by the founder of Transactional Analysis

I' m Ok you're Ok, is the ego's subtle way of saying I'm ok you're NOT Ok.
Yep, That's the book I was thinking of too Chandrakavi.
Surprisingly TA is still considered a valid therapy today which I find a little surprising to say the least. It has merits, in part, but is flawed in many respects.

@Wise Haven
I have not read the book. That is one of the pictures that came up in a google search. When I was looking for info on a psychopath's relationship cycle, I found this info:

psychopathyawareness.wordpress.com/2010/...devalue-and-discard/

that had TRIANGULATION mentioned. So I had to find out what THAT was.

i have found T.A to be quite useful on some levels - particularly with mr thoreau and my family - i would not say it is a solution to owt but on a personal level it has been a useful tool :)

No shit!
Imagine someone donating 3k, and then being ignored + they live in France so + travel expenses. WOW. And if they didn't get a reply and were never invited? :think:

Their attitude speaks volumes.
