Welcome justoneman
Yes quite right you are about Ickey using the forum as a base for information sourcing, It's quite clever of him to let them think that he's leading them, when in fact they're leading him.
But because they see themselves as individuals and Icke seems them as a flock, then they will never see how he nibbles a bit off of each of them from time to time and represents this nibbled information as a message from the 'God head'.
I quite often noticed Icke mention views that had been discussed on his forum, without referring to the source.
I think what he does is this, at times he posts stories on the main headlines page, and links the source 'Guardian' etc...
He (Daisy) instructs the moderation crew to forward any interesting posts on the topics, he then amalgamates the posts into his own theory and represents it as his own.
It's no different than what some of the lesser management members do where I work, they hold a team meeting to gather views, they then pass these views up to their line manager as if they had constructed them from the team, rather than one or two team members having supplied information that would be beyond that persons usual remit.
So the only alteration is in presentation, so that it suits company policy.
Oh yes I remember those brain storming meetings where you came up with some good ideas only to see your line manager use them as his own. Then what would happen after a few times of this is you shut up and let him figure things out for himself.
