She could have flown Qantas, which is Australian. Most long haul flights have connections, rarely there are direct flights, usually capital city to capital city/or major city, ex London-Sydney, and those cost more. I've flown Turkish Airlines a few times, with connection in Istanbul, doesn't mean a thing where you connect in order to get to the final destination.
All speculations imo, and really irrelevant. Who cares? Most important is what went on behind closed doors at TPV's 'headquarters', and whether or not she's the mole Icke spoke about in his psychotic rants.

I believe she stopped off in Eygpt rather than simply connecting, and didn't DI call out Sharon Gifford as the mole? Elissa's visa was expiring at the end of January 2014 so she had to leave.

Iirc the 'mole rant' was just after the Sharon furore which was alluded to, but Icke still said they had a mole present who would be outed in a couple of weeks - when Elissa's visa was due to end.

I guess this is there attempt of making the current total look closer to the target so people are encouraged to get it to the target ammount on time. £14k of £250k just looked pathetic. At least £14k of £50k doesn't look so bad!

Have they communicated with the public/donators what the £50k will achieve?

If £50k will get them to the next phase why ask for 5 times that amount in the first place?
