Security tighter than ever at Bilderberg conference

Secretive meeting only invites curiosity (really? Let's see if you actually bother reporting on it then, Washington Post).

Chantilly's Westfields Marriott hotel is the site of an “unprecedented” security crackdown as the world’s richest and most powerful arrive for the annual Bilderberg conference.

Hundreds of demonstrators are expected to protest the highly secretive gathering, which kicks off Thursday and lasts through the weekend. The off-the-record meeting, well known in conspiracy lore but typically given little to no media attention each year, once again will bring together heads of state, billionaire bankers, leading businessmen and other international movers and shakers.

A perimeter of about a half-mile has been set up around the Northern Virginia hotel, and all non-Bilderberg guests reportedly were kicked out of their rooms. A photographer for The Washington Times was told by law enforcement Wednesday that any attempt to get close to the building would result in arrest.

Tight security is nothing new at the infamous meeting, but more press coverage in recent years — driven largely by social media and radio host Alex Jones, among others — has led organizers to thicken the protective shell around the conference to new heights.

And thus further feeding the rumor mill.

“This year, it’s the biggest ever. The security is leveraged up big time. It’s unprecedented,” Mr. Jones, one of the loudest Bilderberg critics, said in an interview Wednesday after he and his staff were told to remove themselves from the hotel or risk arrest.

But Fairfax County police say that some reports — including rumors on Twitter and elsewhere that law enforcement personnel have threatened would-be trespassers with machine guns — are being blown out of proportion.

“Obviously, police officers carry guns. That’s part of the deal,” Officer Shelley Broderick, county police spokeswoman, told The Times. “Obviously, we’re aware of this [meeting]. We do have officers working with the hotel and the [Bilderberg] organization, just to make sure everything goes fine. We’re working to make sure everything goes OK.”

The official Bilderberg guest list is kept under wraps, as are the specific topics for discussion. Rumored to be at the top of the agenda this year is the European financial crisis.

Frequent attendees, including Henry A. Kissinger and David Rockefeller, are expected again. A copy of last year’s guest list, leaked to a journalist covering the conference, offers a window into just how much influence Bilderberg guests wield.

Google Chairman Eric Schmidt, World Bank President Robert B. Zoellick, European Central Bank President Jean-Claude Trichet, Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands and Greek Minister of Finance George Papaconstantinou were reportedly among those in attendance at the 2011 meeting in Switzerland.

Global business titans, government officials and political figures rounded out the guest list of more than 100, though skeptics suspect dozens of names, especially of high-profile individuals, are kept off of it.

The Bilderberg organization releases virtually no information about the meeting.

Its website, bilderbergmeetings.org, states that the yearly conference “is a small, flexible, informal and off-the-record international forum in which different viewpoints can be expressed and mutual understanding enhanced.”

It goes on to explain that “at the meetings, no resolutions are proposed, no votes taken and no policy statements issued.”

The conference gets its name from the first meeting in 1954 at the Bilderberg hotel in the Netherlands.

Critics say the organization’s benign description doesn’t come close to reality. It is at the Bilderberg’s annual meeting, they argue, that the world’s real rulers make major decisions with global implications, such as choosing future political leaders surreptitiously.

Some say the group also is laying the groundwork for an eventual one-world government, for plans to impose worldwide population control, and for using such global issues as climate change to repeal democracy or free speech.

What is discussed behind closed doors this year likely will remain secret, but the sheer level of security and precautions taken to keep the conference below the radar has piqued public curiosity and concern, Mr. Jones said.

“It’s all of this meeting in secret business. … People know this stuff isn’t good,” he said.

Will Bilderberg elect the next US president?

Around 150 of the world’s elite will meet outside of Washington, DC this week at the annual Bilderberg Conference, and although the agenda isn’t advertised to the public, some sources are already speaking out about what this year might bring.

Officially, the details of each Bilderberg Conference aren’t anything its members will go on the record to reveal. According to spectators that have kept a close eye on the event’s happenings each year, however, the annual conference has a reputation for being a kingmaker — and an elusive and exclusive one at that.

Speaking to RT earlier this month, radio host Alex Jones shared his expectations for the coming conference. According to the journalist, “Should the elite get behind Mitt Romney or Barack Obama?” is a question that he expects to be brought up for discussion. “Both men are bought and paid for by the same financial interests, and so the discussion will be which candidate can basically con the American people to lay down the tyranny for another four years.”

But does the biggest election of 2012 really rely that much on a mysterious meeting? Many people will tell you yes, and they are often willing to provide evidence to explain. Before becoming household names, politicians such as former presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton both attended Bilderberg conferences in the years before being elected to the Oval Office. Tony Blair was on hand at the 1993 gala before becoming prime minister of England in 1997, and the 2008 conference is believed to be the catalyst for that year’s US presidential election: rumors suggest that attendees settling on backing Barack Obama for the Democratic Party nomination at that year’s event, only for contender Hillary Clinton to bow out two days later.

“For an entire day, the media in Virginia and in DC saying, ‘Where’s Obama? Where’s Obama?’ And we were there saying he’s inside, the secret service is there,” Alex Jones recalls of the 2004 conference to RT.

As with 2004, this year's Bilderberg Conference will be held at the Chantilly, Virginia Westfield Marriott, and employees there are already privy to the fact that Jones will be ready to scrutinize every action he can witness from the grounds: on Tuesday, his reservation at the establishment was revoked and he was informed that he banned from the hotel; hours later, Jones’ Prison Planet website revealed that “all guests had been kicked out of the hotel, and offered one night’s accommodation at the Residence Inn in Chantilly (also Marriott owned).”
“Policy is being set there and this is one of the most elite meetings out there,” Jones told RT. That, many fear, is precisely why those close to the conference don’t want outsiders to have an inside scoop.

This year Jones expects details of the US presidential election to obviously be discussed, but perhaps the agenda item most interesting to many involves only one side of the race: rumors are quickly evolving about who and how the GOP will go about selecting a vice presidential nominee to run alongside their candidate of choice, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney. Al Kamen, a writer at the Washington Post, recently compared a recent speech from Senator Marco Rubio with one given at the 2004 Bilderberg Conference by John Edwards — which some say was instrumental in securing the VP nod back in 2004. The rumors of Bilderberg being a launching pad for a Rubio run under Romney at this week’s conference has since been spun by reporters at Politico, Salon and elsewhere.
The true measure of a man is not his intelligence or how high he rises in this freak establishment. The true measure of a man is this: how quickly he can respond to the needs of others and how much of himself he can give - Philip K. Dick.

BILDERBERG IS 'A CONSPIRACY REALITY'

Meetings to assemble 'cartels more powerful than any nation'

Kevin DeAnna is former deputy field director at the Leadership Institute and founder of Youth for Western Civilization. He's trained conservatives on philosophy and tactics for Americans for Prosperity, Eagle Forum, Young Conservatives of Texas, and other conservative and libertarian groups around the country.

CHANTILLY, Va. – A Madrid-based investigative journalist who has spent years researching the Bilderberg group – that shadowy organization of high-level leaders in finance and government – is warning that there’s no “conspiracy theory” behind the group: “It’s a conspiracy reality.”

Daniel Estulin, author of “The True Story of the Bilderberg Group,” contends people should care because the idea behind each and every Bilderberg meeting “is to create what they themselves call the aristocracy of purpose between European and North American elites on the best way to manage the planet.”

“In other words,” Estulin told WND in an email exchange in which he answered questions, “the creation of a global network of giant cartels, more powerful than any nation on Earth, destined to control the necessities of life of the rest of humanity.”

The issue arises because of plans announced by the organization to hold meetings this week in the United States.

This year’s private meeting is being held at the Westfield Marriott Convention Center in Chantilly, Va. – the same place it was held four years ago when rumors circulated the group had determined Barack Obama would be the Democratic presidential nominee, not Hillary Clinton. Two days after the event, Clinton bowed out of the race.

The group usually holds its annual meeting in Europe, with past meetings in France, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Scotland and Norway. But this week, through June 4, the Bilderberg Group is meeting about 20 miles from the U.S. capital.

Observers point out George H.W. Bush attended in 1985. He became president in 1988. Bill Clinton attended in 1991. He became president a year later. Tony Blair attended in 1993. He became prime minister of England in 1997. Romano Prodi attended in 1999. Later that year he became president of the European Union Commission. In 2004, Sen. John Edwards spoke to the group. He was later anointed the Democratic vice presidential nominee by presidential candidate John Kerry.

Estulin said some people go off the deep end and try to see more than the Bilderberg Group is. That’s not needed, he said, because what’s already there “is and of itself is a pretty significant factor.”

He said what it is is “a vehicle through which private financier oligarchical interests were able to impose their policies on what is nominally sovereign governments.

Estulin will not be in attendance this year, because he is not permitted to travel into the U.S. But he is sending a representative in his place. He believes the meetings are among the most important events to take place in the world every year.

“Bilderberg is not some group of demonic world leaders sitting around a table staring into a crystal ball,” Estulin told WND. “In the U.S., a lot of people mistakenly believe there are secret societies, a very small group controlling the dynamics of the entire world, instead of understanding Bilderberg as a processes-, ideas- and themes-shaping organization.

“Bilderberg is not a bogeyman. But it is a powerful organization. It’s a medium for bringing together financial institutions – the largest, predatory institutions in the world – which acts in ways that are now the worst enemy of society.”

He said at the center of the campaign is the idea that the resources of the world belong not to the people, but to the minority who have power and influence.

“All these people want an empire. They don’t want the people of the world to develop, to prosper, to grow the population. They want us to work for them, where our children and our children’s children work for an elite group, the oligarchy. If people participate in the ideas shaping the world, if a nation is allowed to grow its own food, develop its own natural resources, be truly self-governing, it would end the Bilderbergers’ oligarchy.”

The question-and-answer exchange with Estulin:

WND: What exactly is the Bilderberg Club, and why should Americans care?

Estulin: It’s a meeting of people who represent a certain ideology. Bilderberg Group is not a conspiracy theory. It’s a conspiracy reality. There are many people who go off the deep end and try to make more of the Bilderberg Group than it actually was and is. It was a very important element of the oligarchical structures of the Cold War period. It is a self-perpetuating system, a virtual spider web of interlocked financial, political, economic and industry interests. And that in and of itself is a pretty significant factor, because what it meant was that it was a vehicle through which private financier oligarchical interests were able to impose their policies on what is nominally sovereign governments.

Bilderberg is a medium of bringing together financial institutions which are the world’s most powerful and most predatory financial interests. And at this time, it is that combination which is the worst enemy of humanity.

Americans should care because the idea behind each and every Bilderberg meeting is to create what they themselves call “The Aristocracy of Purpose” between European and North American elites on the best way to manage the planet. In other words, the creation of a global network of giant cartels, more powerful than any nation on Earth, destined to control the necessities of life of the rest of humanity. And that in itself isn’t healthy.

WND: Is there any significance to the meeting being held in America this year?

Estulin: No. Conspiracy theorists make too much of this. They say Greece became a basket case after Bilderberg met there, so did Spain after their 2010 meeting. The reality is quite different. Greece became a basket case long before Bilderberg came to town, and Spain has been mired in a great depression of their own since about 2007, three years before their meeting in Barcelona. It’s just every four years Bilderberg meets in North America. Why Chantilly again? I don’t know. Perhaps the food is good, because obviously there is a great number of 5-star luxury hotels in the USA where they could have met. My advice to people looking for conspiracies in every nook and corner – stick to the facts and to history.

WND: What kinds of decisions have been made at prior meetings? What are you expecting this year?

Estulin: If you look at the history of Bilderberg meetings, the conclusions reached almost always dealt with the financial aspect of the world politics. The idea is not the creation of “One World Government” as too many individuals would like to believe. Obviously, OWG is a neat little conspiracy theory which makes everything easy. But the world is a far more complex place, and the people involved at the highest levels of powers plan their moves decades ahead. The idea of Bilderberg, and that obviously has a lot to do with the decisions they reach is to create One World Government, Ltd. Corporations, in other words, with a lot more power than any government on the planet, as was explained by George Ball at the 1968 Bilderberg meeting in Canada. Key examples of this are the former president of Greece and the current caretaker unelected prime minister of Italy and member of the Bilderberg Group, Mario Monti. Both of them come from Goldman Sachs, as does Mario Draghi, current head of European Central Bank.

Obviously the complete meltdown of the world’s economy will be high on the agenda. But, you have to understand why this is important. The reason? Population reduction. This has been their goal for a long time.

Zero growth, zero progress. Club of Rome (Limits to Growth)

CFR’s “Project 1980s” promoting controlled disintegration of world
economy.

Bilderberg’s 1995 “Demand destruction.” How do you destroy demand? By destroying the world’s economy on purpose. By cutting down productivity, through cutting down infrastructure, by cutting inventions, technology, what you are doing is you are forcing a collapse in population. And if you keep people stupid and not too numerous, then the minority can control them. Liebniz’s circles discovered 300 years ago that progress and development is directly proportional to population density. You see, when we build infrastructure, we are actually reorganizing the physical space-time of the biosphere, allowing it to attain higher and higher levels of energy-flux density. Like all feats of human creativity, this is not a project designed for immediate consumption. This is a project designed to extend man’s sense of self far beyond the confines of his sense perceptions and feelings of personal well-being and connect him instead to generations which will continue his legacy long after his generation has left the Earth.
So, if you want to have a future for mankind, you have to grow and progress technologically and scientifically.

“And that has nothing to do with money. What these people want is an empire. And too many people believe that in order to have an empire, you need money. But money is not a determinant of wealth and the economy. Money doesn’t affect the development of the planet. There is a delusionary belief that some intrinsic value is expressed by money. Value is expressed, not as a quantity per se, but only as the relative effects of the increase, or the decrease of the physical potential relative population-density of the individual in a society. The value of money lies not in the individual exchange, but in the functional unity, known as unifying dynamic, of the social process of a nation. You know what affects the development of the planet?

Human mind affects this development. This is how mankind is measured. What separates us from animals is our ability to discover universal physical principles. It allows us to innovate, which subsequently improves the lives of people. Development of mankind, the development of the power of the individual and the nation depends upon scientific developments.

And that’s called immortality, something that people who protest at these
meeting have no inkling about.

WND: There have been calls for protests this year. Is this a new development, and do you think it will change how the meetings are conducted in the future?

Estulin: A protest is when you have 500,000 people standing outside the hotel chanting. When you have 300 people screaming crazy things at the passing
cars with tinted windows, that’s not a positive development which will change anything. Bilderberg calls them “the great unwashed.” And obviously, for the uninitiated, normal folks who see this on TV, the effect is counterproductive. I mean, when people carry signs such as “Black pope is the king of the Bilderberg.” Or ‘Bilderberg is a one-eyed monster,” etc., there is little positive effect or impact one will draw from this. Also, most of the people who attend the protest rallies have absolutely no idea what Bilderberg is. They don’t understand history and really have no interest in the historical aspects of this organization. What do I mean?

For example, Bilderberg is a continuation of the Venetian black nobility, going back to about the time of the fourth crusade around 1204. In fact, Bilderberg is one of many such organizations that were established in the modern period as a continuation of method of Venice. For example, what’s the whole system of private tax exempt foundations in the USA and Europe? Those are the old Venetian fondi, the private oligarchical funds that are exempted from the kind of taxes that would be paying in the system of sovereign nation states and the funds are deployed to exert control over policy through methods that are not to be direct and obvious to people stuck in a certainty.

To effectively protest, people first of all have to educate themselves in the history of the world and history of Venice and their effect on the modern Bilderberg meetings. Of course, that’s hard, and most people simply prefer to stand on the side of the road screaming profanities at the passing cars.

WND: What is the Bilberberg’s Club overall agenda, if it has one?

Estulin: First of all, let’s get a few things straight. Bilderberg isn’t a secret society. It is not an evil, all-seeing eye or a Jewish-Masonic conspiracy. There is no conspiracy even though a lot of people with their infantile fantasies see it as such. No group of people, and I don’t care how powerful they are, sit around the table in dark room, holding hands, staring at a crystal ball, planning the world’s future. These are organizations that have operational missions. These are not the seats of power. These are not the organizations that actually meet and deliberate on major policy decisions, issues of war and peace, questions of genocide. These are the conveyor belts. That’s why it’s a mistake to think that somehow or other you can
pinpoint the Bilderbergers, the CFR (Council on Foreign Relations), the TC (Trilateral Commission), Le Circle … these organizations as the hub of oligarchical power. When you have organizations that have meeting dates, rosters of members, and now in the more modern period have websites and twitters, things like that. The oligarchical principal works on [a] different and higher level, and so they create a multiplicity of front organizations whose job is to radiate out the idea that already has been pre-determined at a much higher and much more exclusive level. These organizations play a role, but they are not at the top of the pyramid by a long shot.”

WND: Do you think opposition to these meetings is growing, and if so, why do you think that is?

Estulin: The opposition is a top down phenomenon not a grass roots movement. I mean, you have the intellectuals, the professionals, the bankers themselves at a mid level, etc., who are beginning to understand that the world is a very different place from what we have been told. We need quality opposition but quantity. Crazies dressed in rags screaming at officials will only deter the masses from joining the movement.

WND: What can people opposed to the group do, seeing as how it is composed of the most powerful people in the world?

Estulin: Once again, I want to stress that these are not the most powerful people in the world. Most powerful people don’t attend Bilderberg meeting. Just look at the list of attendees. CEOs of companies, members of European Parliament, European Commissioners, journalists. These are mid level cogs of the system, not the makers of history. The true power rests with people who are not listed on Google. For example, one of the most powerful families in the world are the Friscobaldies, the old Venetian nobles. Their wealth is measures in trillion of dollars. I spent 3.5 years researching these families at the National Library in Florence poring over 13th-, 14th-century notary books, counting the acres of land, their properties over the centuries. These are the true seats of power and believe me, they do not attend Bilderberg.”

WND: In the world where economic power is transitioning to Asia, is the group as powerful as it once was?

Estulin: “Not only Asia. Russia is a big problem because unless you can succeed in destroying Russia and China you will not succeed in destroying [the] nation state system. And if you get an alliance between the U.S., Russia, China and India around the principles of national sovereignty, then you could deliver a death blow to this whole system of oligarchism once and for all. Because that’s what Bilderberg is: [an] oligarchical system of control based on the old Venetian system.

From the standpoint of Bilderberg being any kind of a voice of authority for an oligarchical system, if you kill the oligarchical system off, then Bilderberg is absolutely useless. [End of interview]

The meetings are private, invitation-only for about 150 individuals from the worlds of politics, business, finance, energy, media and nobility. No resolutions are voted on, no outsiders at the meetings, no minutes are taken, not statements issued.

Estulin has cited David Rockefeller’s own admission. Rockefeller, a Bilderberg member, wrote: “Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as ‘internationalists’ and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure – one world, if you will. If that’s the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it.”

And in 2009, Bilderberg Chairman Etienne Davignon boasted that the Euro single currency was actually a recommendation of the Bilderberg group.
The true measure of a man is not his intelligence or how high he rises in this freak establishment. The true measure of a man is this: how quickly he can respond to the needs of others and how much of himself he can give - Philip K. Dick.

Bilderberg 2012: the technocrats are rising at this year's annual conference

Our man at Bilderberg is back for a fourth year and has touched down in Chantilly for the 2012 gathering. The shadowy elite leaders' conference starts tomorrow, so what's on the agenda?

It's all change at Bilderberg this year, with a new chairman, new media and Occupy Bilderberg knocking at the gates.

Everything's set. The hotel is being primped and hoovered, the security is arriving, the press is nowhere to be seen, and I just had a really boring crab salad. It's shaping up to be a vintage Bilderberg.

We were lunching in the Palm Court restaurant of the Westfields Marriott hotel, in Chantilly, Virginia. A few days from now, this hotel will be dripping with billionaires and bankers, industry CEOs and finance ministers, here for the annual Bilderberg summit. "The leaders of the world are coming to our hotel", beams one member of staff. "Are you here for the brunch?"

We are. Most of the other guests have left by now. The hotel is edging towards lockdown. All that's left is a team of nervy conference organizer who start filming us with their iPhones, several dozen security operatives, me, my wife and a really rather boring 'spook', brunching on an adjacent table.

He droned on for the full length of a crab salad about his "internal and external drivers", about how "I got a panel of three-star admirals together" to secure a "$30m contract" and how "CACI excels in capture management".

He talked fondly of CACI International Inc (a giant defense contractor), although more recently he's had "a nice success rate with Booz Allen" (another giant defense contractor). His world was the deathly dull blur between the federal government and private defense corporations. The grim feeding trough of "systems solutions", "security logistics" and "mission assurance". My crab ended just as he was declaring, wisely: "When you leave the navy and you go to a contractor, you say: what's my mission?"

His mission for the next week or so is to keep the queen of the Netherlands, the chairman of Barclays, and the chairman, vice-chairman and CEO of Shell Oil safe and sound for a three-day conference. The hotel is encircled by the offices of the world's largest arms' manufacturers, 15 minutes up the road from the headquarters of the CIA. I suspect they'll be OK.

The Bilderberg conference was last here in Chantilly, at the exact same godforsaken spot, back in 2008 – which, like 2012, was a US election year, and the moment the current economic woes really started hitting the fan. You might remember, it was the year when then-senators Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton paid a flying visit to Bilderberg (aka 'an event in northern Virginia'), after shaking off the press pack during the Democratic presidential campaign. AP had the story:

"Reporters travelling with Obama sensed something might be happening between the pair might when they arrived at Dulles International Airport after an event in northern Virginia and Obama was not aboard the airplane."

You can watch the hilarious footage of Robert Gibbs, Obama's press secretary, trying (and failing) to placate a furious press corp, who found themselves tricked aboard a flight to Chicago. "Others had a desire to meet with him in a private way," he explains. This is an extraordinary admission from Gibbs – "others" clicked their fingers, and Obama came running, with Hillary in tow.

Bill Clinton was introduced to the political big league at Bilderberg 1991. The man who introduced him was Vernon Jackson, a lawyer, civil rights activist and currently board member of Lazard investment bank. Speaking last year about the occasion, Jackson recalls:

"In 1991, I took Bill Clinton to the Bilderberg meetings in Baden Baden, Germany. Bilderberg meetings have been going on since 1954, sort of the North-American / European Alliance."

Later, after Clinton won the election:

"The steering committee of Bilderberg came to Washington in January, and I called the president up and I said 'Mr President, they're here' – and he came to the Four Seasons hotel, and the Europeans felt like they owned him because they met him when he was totally unknown."

That's interesting: a meeting of the Bilderberg steering committee at the Four Seasons in Washington? In January? But according to Bilderberg's official website, "Bilderberg's only activity is its annual conference".

As for this year's election, rumours are already circulating about Bilderberg and presidential running mates, sparked off by a Washington Post report back in April on the matter of Republican senator Marco Rubio's speech at the Summit of the Americas:

"[John] Edwards gave a speech in June 2004 at the Bilderberg conference that was widely credited as one reason John Kerry chose him."

Aside from the US presidency, the big debate of Bilderberg 2012 is likely to be: what in Hades do we do about Greece? The Eurozone is Bilderberg's biggest project, but it's been looking distinctly shaky of late. What's to be done? You can feel the unwillingness of Bilderberg to countenance a 'Grexit' in the stern words of Bilderberg spokesperson, the UK member of parliament for Rushcliffe, Kenneth Clarke. To leave the Euro, says Clarke, would be "disastrous" for the Greeks. "If they get a hopeless lot of rather cranky extremists elected at the next election then they will default on their debt." Clarke took the time to brand eurosceptic British MPs "right-wing nationalists", and euroscepticism itself "irresponsible".

Clarke's most telling remark is that: "It's going to take a crisis, an absolute crisis, to make Europe's leaders act." This week's Economist magazine agrees: "For the past six decades, steps forward to greater European union have taken place at moments of incipient crisis."

"A consensus is slowly emerging that, whether a Greek exit is to be averted or weathered, there will have to be a greater level of integration in the euro zone, with tighter constraints on the freedom of national governments."

This message, that out of the struggle will come a new strength, seems to be the Bilderbergian line. For example, EU Commissioner Joaquin Almunia (whom we spotted at Bilderberg 2010) says we need now to "reinforce the European Parliament's role" which "will also strengthen the role of the [EU] Commission". So his solution to the crisis: "I need a bigger office."

The Economist says that if the "elite venture" of Europe is to survive and thrive, "Europe's elites" have got their work cut out. It ventures to give the elites some "unashamedly technocratic" advice on how to forge their closer union, but it needn't worry, the technocrats of Bilderberg seems to have the matter in hand. Mario Monti (unelected Italian PM, Bilderberg steering committee) said this week: "Europe can have euro bonds soon."

But we're not in Europe now, we're in Chantilly, and the CIA is just up the road from the conference venue, so protestors had better stay on their best behaviour. And we're expecting plenty of them – gathering under the activist umbrella: "Occupy Bilderberg"

What a difference a year makes. Occupy Bilderberg? I love it. The Occupy movement seems finally to have realised that the problem isn't the 1%, it's the 0.001%. It's the guys and gals and whatever David Rockefeller is who are meeting in Chantilly, Virginia, at the end of the week. Many hundreds of protestors have pledged to show up. And who knows, they may just manage to drag the mainstream news media with them.

Historically, one of the biggest problems people have had with Occupy is that its aims and demands have been a little, shall we say, "diffuse". Not the case with Occupy Bilderberg. That's the nail getting hit squarely on the head. Occupy Bilderberg is keyhole activism. Picking the exact right spot and sticking the scissors in.

"We refuse to pay for the banks' crisis" was the cry from OccupyLSX back in the autumn. They demanded an end to "our democracy representing corporations instead of the people." What Bilderberg represents is the fact that our democracy IS our corporations. And politics is just the wake behind a shark fin.

Time to go fishing.

'Machine gun nests and unprecedented security' for secretive Bilderberg meeting of captains of industry and government leaders

The Bilderberg Group, a collection of top captains of industry and western government leaders, is gathering for its annual meeting this weekend under unprecedented security.

Reports from the Mariott Westfields Hotel in Chantilly, Virginia, indicate security officials have set up machine gun nests and are deploying satellite surveillance and other sophisticated monitoring equipment to keep guests safe.

Conspiracy theorists say the closed-door, invitation-only gatherings of 150 of the most powerful people in North America and Western Europe are ground zero for the New World Order, the place where the influential collude to steer the course of human history.

This year, 1,000 people are signed for an 'Occupy Bilderberg' protest, which is spurring the extra-tight security, according to right-wing journalist and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones.
As Guardian columnist Charlie Skelton puts it, Bilderberg isn't about the 1 percent -- it's the 0.001 percent.

Among the attendees of recent meetings are: Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, World Bank president Robert Zoellick, European Commission head José Manuel Barroso, Queen Sofia of Spain and Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands.

The steering committee members include Marcus Agius, the chairman of Barclays; Mario Monte, the Italian Prime Minister; Craig Mundie, the Chief Research Officer for Microsoft; Peter Thiel, one of the venture capitalists behind Facebook; Kenneth Clarke, the British Secretary of Justice; and Jorma Ollila, the chairman of Royal Dutch Shell.

David Rockefeller is a key adviser.

Conspiracy theorists are floating the notion that members will 'anoint' Florida Sen Marco Rubio to become vice president on Mitt Romney's Republican ticket this year.
Bilderberg members say their meetings are simply gatherings of important people who come together to discuss the world's problems.

The Greek debt crisis and instability in the Eurozone are top considerations this year.
However, Mr Jones, a radio talk show host who runs a popular news website, reports that pressure from the occupy movement has organizers stepping up security.

Guests who had made reservations at the posh hotel in suburban Washington, DC, are being refunded and refused access.

One guest who was being kicked out of the hotel to make room for the Bilderberg conference claimed she saw machine gun nests being set up to guard against the protestors, Mr Jones claims.

He also claims that security officials are using sophisticated surveillance technology to tap the phones of protestors. Skelton, of the Guardian, says he witnessed hotel security staffers using iPhones to record anyone they saw in the hotel in the run-up to the conference.

Wildrose leader attacks premier’s attendance at Bilderberg conference

EDMONTON - Wildrose Leader Danielle Smith attacked Premier Alison Redford on Wednesday for attending the elite Bilderberg conference.

Smith said Albertans shouldn’t have to foot the $19,000 bill to attend the conference of power brokers because the meeting is closed to media, will pass no resolutions and Redford won’t be able to say what happened or what she accomplished.

“That’s $19,000 on the taxpayer dime for a committee that meets in secret, has no policies, no resolutions, nobody is allowed — it’s invite only,” Smith said. “What is Alberta getting out of this?

“I think in fact she’s actually thinking more about her career after politics and she’s using it as a networking event. Well, fair enough, then she can pay for it herself. We don’t think Albertans should be on the hook for this tab.”

Redford defended the trip, saying Smith is trying to make political hay out of routine business. She insinuated the Wildrose leader doesn’t understand how international relations are conducted.

“The job of a premier is to advance Alberta’s interests around the world, in a number of different forums, and I feel incredibly privileged to have been invited to this,” Redford said of the three-day meeting in Chantilly, Virgina, a small town near Washington, D.C.

Though the meetings are conducted in secret, Redford said she intends to report back to Albertans on what she achieved.

The Bilderberg conferences have been held since 1954. Organizers typically invite about 130 powerful people to engage in talks that generally centre on international affairs and economic issues.

Organizers say the meetings are private so people can speak freely, but the secrecy has fuelled conspiracy theories about the purpose and goals of the conference.

Former premiers Ralph Klein and Peter Lougheed attended the conference in 1995 and 1973 respectively.

In 2009, University of Alberta president Indira Samarasekera attended the talks in Greece, along with Indigo Books CEO Heather Reisman, former Torstar CEO Robert Pritchard and former U.S. Ambassador Frank McKenna.

In 2010, B.C. Premier Gordon Campbell attended, along with CBC correspondent Peter Mansbridge. In 2011, Bank of Canada Governor Mark Carney was there.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper attended in 2003, and Prime Ministers Paul Martin, Jean Chretien and Pierre Trudeau have also attended.

Bilderberg 2012: Global Leaders Gather For Shadowy Conference At Virginia Hotel

WASHINGTON -- Conspiracy theorists, world leaders, protesters and lots of law enforcement officers are turning out for the annual invitation-only gathering of business and government elites being held at a Virginia hotel near Dulles International Airport outside the nation's capital.

The annual Bilderberg meeting, which started Thursday and wraps up this weekend is being held this year at the Westfields Marriott about 25 miles from the White House.

The meeting brings together "broad cross-section of leading citizens" for "nearly three days of informal and off-the-record discussion about topics of current concern especially in the fields of foreign affairs and the international economy" according to the Bilderberg website. The first meeting was held in 1954, at the Hotel de Bilderberg in the Netherlands.

Who the leading citizens are and the issues discussed has been a matter of much speculation, helping contribute to Bilderberg's shadowy reputation. One theory is that the Bilderberg participants are responsible for choosing the United States' next president -- or, at the very least, are choosing Mitt Romney's vice presidential runningmate.

British actor Charlie Skelton, who has reported on Bilderberg for the Guardian for a few years, suggests another big topic likely to come up:

Aside from the US presidency, the big debate of Bilderberg 2012 is likely to be: what in Hades do we do about Greece? The Eurozone is Bilderberg's biggest project, but it's been looking distinctly shaky of late. What's to be done?
As befits a somewhat secretive meeting of the world's rich and powerful, Bilderberg draws protesters. The Washington Times reports that because an especially large number of protesters expected this year, security at the hotel has been beefed up to what some are saying is an "unprecedented" level:

A perimeter of about a half-mile has been set up around the Northern Virginia hotel, and all non-Bilderberg guests reportedly were kicked out of their rooms. A photographer for The Washington Times was told by law enforcement Wednesday that any attempt to get close to the building would result in arrest.

The Times was leaked a list of attendees to the 2011 meeting and uses this list to speculate about this year's attendees:

Canadian politician Alison Redford is also confirmed to be attending this year's conference.

Meeting organizers maintain a publicly available list of Bilderberg Steering Committee members -- included among them are a Belgian viscount and politician, the chairman of Goldman Sachs, the president of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and some conservative think tank fellows. David Rockefeller is listed as the only member of the Member Advisory Group.

Occupy Bilderberg faces off with secretive gathering

Around 150 of the world’s elite approached the grounds of a suburban Virginia hotel on Thursday for the first day of the 2012 Bilderberg Conference, but also on hand were throngs of protesters who gathered to opposed the top-secret gathering.
Journalists and critics of the annual clandestine conference stationed themselves outside of a Chantilly, Virginia Marriott hotel near Washington, DC early Thursday to catch a glimpse of the government officials, entrepreneurs and other assorted members of the privileged elite who had gathered for this year’s event.

In year’s past, it is rumored that leaders of the United States and Britain were agreed on by global figureheads behind closed doors during the Bilderberg Conference; this week in Virginia, speculators have introduced the notion that international big-wigs will be brought with questions surrounding both who to back during the 2012 US presidential election and who will be picked to run alongside GOP nominee Mitt Romney.

“Policy is being set there and this is one of the most elite meetings out there,” radio host Alex Jones told RT weeks before the event. On Thursday, Jones and his media crew were in Chantilly, VA to expose this year’s attendees.

Before the event went underway, the only person confirmed to accept an invitation to the 2012 conference was Canadian politician Alison Redford, although frequent guests Henry A. Kissinger and David Rockefeller were all but certain to stop by the Westfield Marriott hotel, although last year’s roster included names such as Google Chairman Eric Schmidt, World Bank President Robert B. Zoellick, European Central Bank President Jean-Claude Trichet, Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands and Greek Minister of Finance George Papaconstantinou. In a peculiar change of police, however, the Bilderberg Group formally released a roster of their own invited members days before this week’s event. Whether or not people liked such as Citigroup Vice Chairman Peter Orszag or Finish Minister of Finance Jutta Urpilainen will actually show is a matter that only those at the behind-closed-doors event can confirm, but the action of actually releasing a list of attendees-real or not — suggests that opponents of the secret society have finally made their unrest heard to the point that organizers decided to attempt for at least some transparency.

Asked to be in attendance this year, according to a memo released by the Bilderberg Group, were many of the usual names as well as Sen. Marco Rubio, whose name has been floated as a possible nominee for Mitt Romney’s running mate.

Those without an invite weren’t so lucky, though — Jones revealed only two days before the event began that his reservation at the hotel had been revoked and that anyone not directly affiliated with the conference that planned to stay at the Marriott had their accommodations transferred to a separate facility. Thanks in part to exposing the conference, however, journalists such as Jones made it possible for a longstanding media blackout of Bilderberg to finally be removed in 2012.

Speaking to RT earlier in the year, Jones appealed to viewers to stage an “Occupy Bilderberg” protest outside the hotel’s grounds and the subsequent media coverage that followed allowed for mainstream outlets to cover the event with an attention unmatched in years before.

Bilderberg meeting 2012: Everyone not invited

Near Washington, D.C., the Bilderberg meeting started Thursday, May 31 at Chantilly, Virginia, USA at the Marriott Hotel and will end June 3, 2012. Peasants like you and me are not allowed in that hotel. A concerned citizen booked a room way in advance but was later kicked out from the Marriott Hotel in this video.

Real Investigative Journalists

The mainstream media avoids them but only a few brave souls like Abby Martin from RT , Alex Jones from Infowars.com and the Guardian's Charlie Skelton's are doing the best to report the situation. Make sure to check their websites and videos for the latest news on the Bilderberg meeting.

The Bilderbergs are people who say they are helping humanity so they can make a buck, but are as arrogant as Lucifer and no more sympathetic than he is towards mankind. They live under the "golden rule". Whoever has the gold makes the rules. Rockefeller himself admitted they are conspiring against the best interests of the Unites States to form a one world government.

New World Order Illegal

Why is the Bilderberg meeting a big deal. Well, for one thing it is illegal under the Logan Act which makes their New world Order illegal. Under the Logan Act a U.S. citizen without the authority of the U.S. cannot make deals with people from other countries. Obama and Hillary met secretly with the Bilderbergs on June 6, 2008 at the Marriott Hotel in Chantilly, Virginia.

No wonder Obama refused to go in 2008 to the Normandy memorial services commemorating D-Day June 6, 1944. Sounds like impeachment to me but congress says it will cause black people to riot everywhere. In other words, congress got paid off too. If life's realities have not hit you in the face yet, you can be sure the Bilderbergs did not mention your name wondering what was best for you.

They did not ask themselves like a church social wondering how they can help you and me. I can just imagine Soros asking, "I wonder how I can help Mr. Lerma today? What can we do to improve his situation in life?" No, it's all about them. Money is their key focus. It is their heart.

Has anyone ever been arrested? No one has been arrested for violating the Logan Act. Only journalists and protesters have been arrested. The Washington Times reported "A perimeter of about a half-mile has been set up around the Northern Virginia hotel, and all non-Bilderberg guests reportedly were kicked out of their rooms." If anyone gets too close they will be arrested. Paul Watson of Infowars.com reported two people were arrested for photographing the Bilderberg limousines. Why would they arrest people taking pictures of a limousine? I guess some Bilderbergers prefer anonymity which makes taking photos against their law.

Who is part of the Bilderberg meeting?

Well, you can be sure few Russians are there. There are hateful critics of Russia's beloved Vladimir Putin like Garry Kasparov of the United Civil Front. Many are from the USA like Senator and former presidential candidate, John Kerry; German-born and Nixon's Secretary of State, Henry Kissinger; Governor of Indiana, Mitch Daniels; Google's Executive Chairman, Eric Schmidt; LinkedIn Co-founder and Executive Chairman, Reid Hoffman; Alcoa's Chairman and CEO, Klaus Kleinfeld; Dow Chemical Company's President, Chairman and CEO, Andrew Liveris; Harvard University's Professor of Economics, Kenneth Rogoff. Bill Gates is not there but Microsoft Corporation's Chief Research and Strategy Officer, Craig Mundie is there. They are all big wigs.

I don't see Soros' name on there but who can really trust them to include everyone posted on their website? German Chancellor Angela Merkel had been spotted according to Alex Jones' information. David Rockefeller was also reported to attend as usual but has not been seen yet.

Origins

Soros was a Nazis collaborator and the Bilderbergs were started by German born Prince Bernhard (video / photo of him with Nazis salute) who was a member of the Nazis party and the infamous SS (Schutzstaffel). If you doubt, click the links, research it yourself and read some history. Most of the links in this article are videos. I once thought the Bilderbergs were another UFO-like conspiracy made up to make money and sell stories. However, it's very suspicious that the mainstream media is of one mind and ignores the Bildergbergs especially when the media even reports on UFO's from time to time.

What are they Planning?

So what are the Bilderbergs planning this time? Some say they are planning who the next U.S. president will be and choosing his vice president. A logical assumption since this is an election year. However, is this not America where the people choose the president? Where all the media blamed Russia and Putin for voter fraud? Unfortunately, things have not been good in America ever since President Kennedy was assassinated and the Communists took over.

The American dilemma

Americans have their own Iwo Jima to fight on their own land if they want their freedom back. It is more difficult now since the emasculation of America was started years ago. Instead of yelling "Sparta", they need to yell in defense of America. Protesting and challenging the Bilderbergs can be done with the new and advanced social media. Perhaps a third independent party can evolve to fulfill the dreams of 1776. Once Americans unite they can raise their flag of freedom over their country and the brave souls who died in past battles like Iwo Jima can rest in peace knowing they did not die in vain.

Russia has nothing to fear since they have a strong defender in Vladimir Putin (note: stop sniggering at the back). China invites capitalism but is a dangerous dragon to those who threaten it. The Western world needs to unite to stop these elitists who can only grind their heel in tyranny over most of the west. Exposing these condescending snobs has been done by brave reporters. Now the job is yours to spread the word because your freedom is at stake.

(Note: China and Russia both openly want a New World Order, they just want to lead it).

Demonstrators heckle Bilderberg attendees

International power brokers arriving in Chantilly for the 2012 Bilderberg conference were treated to a rude welcome by a raucous crowd of about 200 demonstrators Thursday afternoon.

As black limousines and SUVs pulled into the secluded Westfields Marriott hotel, the site of this year’s annual meeting of the world’s richest and most influential, the protesters, many of whom wielded megaphones, shouted them down.

Even hotel employees weren’t immune.

“Don’t serve these criminals,” one man shouted as members of the wait staff drove onto the hotel grounds.

The Bilderberg gathering, given its name after the first meeting at the Netherlands' Bilderberg hotel in 1954, is viewed in conspiracy lore as the central planning session for an eventual one-world government. The European debt crisis is rumored to be at the top of this year’s Bilderberg agenda, but, among members of the crowd, opinions differed about what was being discussed inside.

“They’re talking about Mitt Romney’s running mate and they’re talking about setting up re-education camps for all of us,” said Ross Mullaney, 21, who drove to Northern Virginia from his home in New Hampshire.

Like most of the other demonstrators, Mr. Mullaney said he was inspired to make the trek by the work of Alex Jones, radio host and leading voice in American alternative media. An iconic figure among his listeners, Mr. Jones is also one of the loudest critics of the Bilderberg group.

He led the tongue-lashing as Henry Kissinger, Google Chairman Eric Schmidt, Goldman Sachs International Chairman Peter Sutherland, World Trade Organization Director-General Pascal Lamy and about 150 other Bilderberg attendees showed up for the meeting, which officially began Thursday afternoon and continues through the weekend.

“You’re going to prison, scumbags,” he shouted at a dark limo with tinted windows as it turned slowly into the hotel, the entrances to which were closely guarded by dozens of Fairfax County police officers.

Demonstrators were kept confined to grassy areas outside the facility’s main gate. While law enforcement was strict in keeping everyone away from the vehicles and off the hotel grounds, no one was arrested, and there were no serious incidents, officers told The Washington Times.

But police also have warned members of the press that anyone attempting to get into the hotel would be arrested. Guests, including Mr. Jones and his crew, were kicked out of the hotel before the conference began.

Rumors were circulating among the crowd that federal law enforcement had set up machine-gun nests atop the hotel, though those reports couldn’t be confirmed.

Often mocked by the mainstream media, Mr. Jones and his listeners think that inside the Westfields hotel, world leaders, bankers and business titans are plotting the death of democracy and the replacement of the U.S. government and those of other nations with a centralized global power structure.

They’re willing to take extreme measures to combat it.

Zac Bergholtz, a 21-year-old college student from Nashville, Tenn., said that after he began listening to Mr. Jones‘ show, he grew concerned that medical vaccines given to his young son weren’t designed to protect him. Like others in the crowd, he fears the medicines are meant to squelch brain power and make ordinary people easier to control by authorities.

He’s stopped giving his son, now almost 2 years old, any doctor-recommended vaccines. Mr. Bergholtz also said that the increased use of police and military drones is the first step in “taking the humanity out of the humans.”

Bilderberg attendees appear to pay virtually no attention to Mr. Jones, Mr. Bergholtz or the other protesters who show up like clockwork at the meeting each year, even when it’s held in remote locations, such as last year’s gathering in the Swiss Alps.

The mysterious group releases little information about the conference, though it did on Thursday afternoon put out a list of this year’s participants. Critics think the list is by no means complete, and many high-profile persons – such as Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton [-] are present but intentionally left off the official roster.

The full list is posted at bilderbergmeetings.org.

Daniels among secret forum’s VIP attendees

INDIANAPOLIS – Gov. Mitch Daniels is on a short list of well-connected individuals attending the super-secret “Bilderberg Meeting” in Virginia.

The shadowy group is a “small, flexible, informal and off-the-record international forum in which different viewpoints can be expressed and mutual understanding enhanced,” according to its website.

While two other Washington D.C. events – the unveiling of George W. Bush’s portrait at the White House and a visit to the National Press Club to talk road funding – were listed on the public schedule released by Daniels’ office, there was no mention of Bilderberg.

Press Secretary Jane Jankowski confirmed Daniels will participate in a panel discussion today and then leave. It wasn’t on his public schedule because it’s not a public event, she said.

Others on this year’s list of participants include the co-founder of LinkedIn, various international politicians, former presidential candidate John Kerry, Henry Kissinger, the editor of The Economist, a Microsoft executive, Charlie Rose, a White House national security adviser and the executive chairman of Google.

Bilderberg’s only activity is its annual conference. At the meetings, no resolutions are proposed, no votes taken, and no policy statements issued. Since 1954, 59 conferences have been conducted. For each meeting, the names of the participants as well as the agenda are made public.

But that doesn’t stop the conspiracies from running wild about the quasi-secret society, including claims that the group picks tomorrow’s leaders today.

The conservative WorldNetDaily reported that rumors circulated four years ago that it was determined during the meeting that Barack Obama would be the Democratic presidential nominee, not Hillary Rodham Clinton. Two days after the event, Clinton bowed out.

Other oddities or coincidences? George H.W. Bush attended in 1985. He became president in 1988. Bill Clinton attended in 1991. He became president a year later. Tony Blair attended in 1993. He became prime minister of the U.K. in 1997.

Twitter chatter about Daniels’ attendance spiked Thursday when the participant list became public, and some theorized it might be the governor’s vetting to be Mitt Romney’s vice presidential candidate.

Others asked whether his attending violates the Logan Act, a federal law that forbids unauthorized citizens from negotiating with foreign governments.

Alberta Premier Redford defends attendance at Bilderberg meeting

Alison Redford, the premier of Alberta, Canada, has responded to criticism of her attendance at the secretive Bilderberg Conference, which takes place from May 31 to June 3 in Chantilly, Virginia.

CBC News first reported on Redford's plans to take part in the conference, which brings together around 130 top diplomats, heads of state, Fortune 100 CEOs and power brokers from around the world.

A press anouncement released by the Canadian government states that she will discuss monetary policy, ecological challenges and responsible development of natural resources at the annual meeting. Redford's participation will cost taxpayers around $19,000.

Danielle Smith, the Leader of the Wildrose Oppostion Party, spoke out against Redford's attendance. "We have somebody who's appointed himself the bully of the block, calling out Alberta's oilsands industry. And rather than meet with him, she's decided to go to a secretive meeting in Virginia?" Smith said, according to the Calgary Herald.

Redford assured the legislature that she will be attending the summit on behalf of Alberta. "The job of a premier is to advance Alberta's interests around the world, in a number of different forums, and I feel incredibly privileged to have been invited to this," she stated.

Despite Redford's pledge, thousands of people from around the world are descending upon Chantilly to protest the event and call for transparency. An "Occupy Bilderberg" invitation on Facebook has already recieved well over 1,000 confirmed RSVPs. However, since the meetings of the Bilderberg Group are closed to the press and no minutes are officially released, the public may never know exactly what the consortium discusses over the weekend.

Prime minister and queen Beatrix at Bilderberg conference

Queen Beatrix, prime minister Mark Rutte and D66 leader Alexander Pechtold are among the guests attending this year's Bilderberg conference in Chantilly, the US this weekend, the Volkskrant reports on Friday.

Bilderberg conferences are notorious for their supposedly secretive nature. While there are no votes and the atmosphere is informal, participants are not supposed to talk about discussions or other participants, the Volkskrant states.

The list of politicians, business leaders and others notables attending this year includes Google chief executive Eric Schmidt, Belgium's crown prince Philippe, Henry Kissinger and former chess champion Gary Kasparov, the paper says.

Questions

Marianne Thieme, leader of the pro-animal PvdD, has asked the prime minister to explain what he is doing at the conference.

Other MPs have posed similar questions. 'After all, the trip is paid for by the taxpayer,' Socialist MP Harry van Bommel told the paper.

Bilderberg takes its name from the hotel in Holland, where the first meeting took place in May 1954. Prince Bernhard was involved in setting up the meeting, which grew out of the concerns that Western Europe and North America were not working together as closely as they should.

TINTED GLASS, CHAUFFEURS AND LOCKDOWN: BILDERBERGERS MEET

CHANTILLY, Va. – The Bilderbergers, the global leaders of finance and government who convene in secret, were chauffeured through a gauntlet of protesters here today as the annual meetings of the elite group got under way.

Each time a staid sedan with tinted windows carrying an unidentified participant gathered speed for a dash through the gate leading to the Westfields Marriott Convention Center, protesters started chanting and booing.

At one point, a single protester appeared to hurl something at one of the cars, but police, amid shouts of “agent provocateur,” did nothing.

A huge police presence was on hand, and barricades were erected to keep protesters away from the route that conference participants were taking to reach the resort, which was in a virtual lockdown.

A man, who asked to be identified only as John R., said he drove down from Baltimore to protest the Bilderberg conference for the first time.

“What’s become clear is the people we elect are just puppets. The Internet allows us to see the puppet masters,” he said.

He noted the significant absence of most media coverage of the event, which is scheduled to run for several days.

“If you have 130 of the world’s biggest celebrities, all the media in the world would cover, and there would be tens of thousand of people who would try to see in,” he said.

Members of the crowd ranged from anarchists to advocates of the U.S. Constitution. Some carried signs seeking the arrest of the Bilderbergers. American flags and “Don’t Tread on Me” banners were in abundance.

Among other slogans: “Oligarchs the spawn of Satan,” “New World Order,” “Still Time to Repent” and “RonPaul2012.”

Another member of the protest crowd was Adam Kokesh, who used to have a show on Russia Today.

“What we’re seeing here is part of the evolution of the superclass,” he said.

He said there are more people talking about the group, more information available and more visibility on the Internet than ever before.

But he said the changes from the Bilderbergers’ early meetings, which were completely secret, still have not opened the discussions about the management of the planet to outsiders.

Just a day earlier, a Madrid-based investigative journalist who has spent years researching the Bilderberg group warned there’s no “conspiracy theory” behind the group: “It’s a conspiracy reality.”

This year the meetings in Chantilly run through June 4. Most of the group’s meetings are in Europe.

Four years ago there were rumors that Barack Obama had been picked as the Democratic presidential nominee. Two days after the event, Hillary Clinton bowed out.

Observers also point out George H.W.

He described the group as “a vehicle through which private financier oligarchical interests were able to impose their policies on what is nominally sovereign governments.”

The meetings are private, invitation-only for about 150 individuals from the worlds of politics, business, finance, energy, media and nobility. No resolutions are voted on, no minutes are taken and no statements are issued.

In 2009, Bilderberg Chairman Etienne Davignon boasted that the Euro single currency was a recommendation of the Bilderberg group.
The true measure of a man is not his intelligence or how high he rises in this freak establishment. The true measure of a man is this: how quickly he can respond to the needs of others and how much of himself he can give - Philip K. Dick.
