I don't know about needing to be loved. I've had friends with benefits things over the years. The people actually really annoyed me and I also found them slightly repulsive, but the sex was great. I've also had completely online and phone based wierd sexual things that weren't at all physical, but were interesting, exciting and very stimulating none the less.

I suppose the point is that sex doesn't have to be with someone you love, and who loves you to be fulfilling. Hell, you don't need to even like each other, or have to even meet to get off. If you can have a beer and a laugh with someone it helps, but it's best not to get emotionally involved in those situations, that's why it helps to be **** buddies with someone who pisses you off. A relationship is a completely different animal though.

Lesley... not weird...some of the best sex always happens between friends, you don't have to make that "morning after call" to check on them, you don't have to stay the night and cuddle up with them (you can leave immediately) or you can kick them out of your place, you can be all into each other one minute and throwing a couple back like best friends the next, jealousy doesn't happen, you don't have to put up with their friends.

It does all sound a bit tantric Gilly, but loads of women would probably be jealous of your talent.

@ Stars, yeah, and you already know each others annoying habits, so you could never get together. You know for a fact that you would really rub each other up the wrong way! If friends do get into a relationship it can very get messy.

No, the first time took hours, and I fell asleep, then woke up to a bit of an astral experience (which I think was caused by the extended energy raising thing) then carried on for ages again. But with practice it can take very little time. Maybe 20 minutes. It's different from other sex. Not better, just different.

I'm trying to perfect controlled astral travel btw. Ever since I decided to do that, it's never happened (not the orgasm, just the OOB).
