Why would some people have them and not others? What makes the ones with them special?

How can you possibly say that I don't seem to have one? You don't know if I have one or not.

Also, I'd much rather know than believe. One can believe in any old load of crap, it doesn't make it true.

And we could argue about the relationship between know and believe all night long too...each has a relationship to the other.
You say you believe in a higher energy, your belief is based in something you know. Therefore it follows if you know something you believe it to be so, but not necessarily agree with it.
Your question, with all due respect, depends on what you (asking the question) mean by guardian angel, other than as I understand you perception so far to be of some sort of winged being sent by god.....or am I wrong?

angel may be the wrong word, more of a entity that wants to effect you for good or bad is more like it. imo

A guardian angel as in a male or female human type thing that helps you out of shit :D

I'm not talking about god.

You did a reading for me Jane, and said I have a guardian angel...you've never told me about that, despite me asking over and over again...what did you mean by guardian angel? :D

So now you've changed your mind and decided it's not bollocks and some people do have guardian angels? What makes the ones with them special?
Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.

How can you possibly say that I don't seem to have one? You don't know if I have one or not.
neither do you by the looks of it.

I don't know whether you are just confused, or you are confusing me...but I know one thing...I believe, so that answers your OP.
As to your other response to me ^^^^...I was wondering when you would bring that up, and if the whole reason for your thread was about that. we have discussed, and with all due respect I have answered you in PM.

No my whole thread wasn't about that, it was partly about that Jane, but also the concept as a whole.

So basically that PM you sent me where you said "just believe..etc." You're saying I'll have a guardian angel if I believe in it?

People can change their minds Jane...although I often change my mind second by second :D I tend to type spontaneously.
Why would some people have them and not others?
^^^^Edit: Although this was a question, not exactly a change of mind.

So far you've kind of given me non answers :D like "oh dear, oh dear, oh dear" that answer doesn't cut it Jane :chuckle:

My "oh, dear" comment is quite self explanatory Irre. It is your opinion that people who have guardian angels are "special"....what is it?...you want to be "special"? Feeling left out of something? I don't understand where you're coming from Irre, you have changed your mind from yes to no and back again in this thread. People who will chose to respond to your thread will either answer yes or no and say why. You might as well have asked if people believe in god or if the moon is made of cheese.

As for 'cutting it'....I have answered your questions in PM...obviously not to your satisfaction....the bottom line is...it is something you have to find the answer to within yourself...as with everything else in life.

I have answered your OP as far as it applies to me.
As to the reading I gave you on the other SZ...it's in the past...please don't beleaguer me about said reading again.

All I'm doing is asking questions Jane. People can ask questions without changing their mind. I haven't made my mind up about it so how can I change it? As far as my "it's bollocks IMO" comment, I'll change that to "it might be bollocks IMO".

I'm not feeling left out, and I am special  :D (the I am special comment is meant tongue in cheek btw)

I didn't mean to make you feel beleagured Jane.

I wriggled free, ran across the road...the car shot past me, taking the skin of both knees, close call...a few more inches...

Second time I was on my bike...pressed the button at the lights, waited for the beep...heard the beep saw the lights turn red...the car hit my front wheel, I flew off my bike and twatted my head into the metal strip at the side of the windscreen...a few more inches...
I had a massive lump on my head :D

If you imagine these guardian angels saved you, yet many people die in similar circumstances - why are their guardian angels letting them go but not you?

Exactly SB.

I'm not saying for one second I was saved by a guardian angel/s. I'm just wondering about it as a concept.

It would be nice if we have ancestors from beyond or whatever who help us in our lives. Maybe it's really subtle.

I think the past/future versions of yourself, and also concurrent divergent versions of yourself based on choice/time is very plausible. Perhaps the ancestor thing ties into that.
There's certainly more from 'normal' experience to how advanced in scope perception can become, and how the brain can tune to a wider bandwidth. (whilst perhaps blocking out other bandwidth).
Dreams... I think these are the key to unlocking so much in our minds. An intermingled vision of the past/present/future & pure randomness. How to interpret? Recognise the metaphors? The dream world is part of waking life..

Extraterrestrials do look out for some people they have ties with. Guardian Angels are real if you look at it that way.

It's pretty simple. There are not a lot of extraterrestrials who look over people on earth. And they don't control everything.

What ties are they? I mean, why would an extraterrestrial have ties with some random bloke or woman? Are they abductees? Alien DNA?

How do you know this omni?

I say it's co-incidence attributed to a mystical form.
It helps people believe they have been saved for some greater purpose or that they've accrued enough bonus points on their religious loyalty cards to be entitled to a minder.

But then again I'm an eternal cynic.

Yeah, exactly. Where are their "guardian angels"? Women being raped and murdered, kids being abused, people being bombed the crap out of...the concept of guardian angels just sounds like more shite that we in the cushy west like to believe in.

Ive been to a few spiritualist church's and seen a few so called psychic artists who are able to draw your guardian angel. :umm:

Why do most psychic artists only draw native Americans as guardian angels :umm:
