I thought you might have been infering that I was a Guardian reader mikey...as I understand it, it's a term used to denigrate those of us who are perhaps a bit more skeptical about things...skeptical, I don't like that word, I'm not a skeptic, I just need more evidence before I'm ready to believe in...stuff :chuckle:

Misunderstanding, worry not, not that you were :)

Maybe if you explained it properly in the first place you wouldn't need to repeat it ;) :D

By the time I'm feeling a bit brighter I'll probably have lost interest in it :chuckle:

That was just pure luck.

I don't think people have guardian angels, it's bollocks, IMO.
from pg 1 .. heres q to you. do you believe in luck?
what is the difference between a guardian angel and luck - personality?

well luck seems like an attractor or repeller of 'good things', like it is just part of you, and an angel seems to refer to a being that is separate and acts by itself, make decisions etc. so i wonder why you said it was pure luck, then said guardian angel are bollocks when they are both things that can't be put under a microscope.
or if you just meant luck in a colloquial way.. chance etc.

I've often considered that perhaps guardian angels are just our consciousness in a higher state trying to steer and help.

I did know a woman who had a spirit guide that was with her all the time. Yes, even on the bog!

If I have a spirit guide he/she must be one bored puppy. Having to watch me go to work, come home, eat, wrestle the bald champ, go to sleep, get up, go to work, come home...........etc

Poor thing.

I think some people may have them, it just appears that you don't seem to have one....
We can get you one if you like... :present:
Don't open it until Christmas.

Why would some people have them and not others? What makes the ones with them special?

How can you possibly say that I don't seem to have one? You don't know if I have one or not.

I don't know if you do, that is why I said you don't seem to have one.
There is all sorts of 'Dork Farces' at work, it is possible to control someones fate by way of interference, that wouldn't be Karma, that would just be some people being scheming bastards.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again...I say things :D often without thinking.

I think I meant luck as in chance, although I think there was more chance of me going over the roof of the first car, or under the wheels beings so small...but it only scraped my knees. There was probably more of a chance of going through the windscreen of the second car, but I hit the metal strip at the side.
I could call it luck, but I can't have been that lucky because I was knocked over twice :D

There are fine lines everywhere,it probably doesn't take much to fall on one side or the other.

It would be equally justifiable to read into those incidents that some malevolent, (if inefficient) , 'angel' was determined to chuck you in front of traffic. :D

How would you account for those children in the clip describing having seen the 'butterfly people', Feathery one?

Regarding the question a few have asked about people who perish instead of escaping, have you considered that some times it's just time for people to pass on, for whatever reason? Possibly they're simply ready to progress to their next stage of being?

Or do you think that if guardian angels / God existed, nobody would ever die, except from old age? And if that's the case, do you think it might make life less valued, because it's less precarious? That we could afford, perhaps, to be more flippant, because it wouldn't matter if it was some 3rd party entity's responsibility to protect us?

Not challenging anyone's opinions, btw, just curious :) .

Obviously I can't give a definitive explanation for that Gilly but kids do have incredible, unfettered imaginations and it would be interesting to know what may have fed that. (Were they raised with religion, or fairytales, etc One may interpret them as angels, the other as butterfly people depending on their terms of reference).

During incidents of high drama the brain releases all kinds of chemicals which may effect perception or even spark illusions.
I was once involved in a near accident at relatively high speed on a motorbike. Events slowed to a snails pace, I was reading the whole scene with amazing detail, looking for options.
I ended up doing an impossible weave through the various cars about to impact with me and found myself at the other side of the melee standing on one leg. If I had not done that the other leg would certainly have been ripped off.
At no time do I recall consciously making that decision and obviously time did not slow down. My brain simply went into overdrive and calculations happened at a ridiculous pace. No angels were present. (Not even Hells Angels). :P

The brain is perfectly capable of producing illusions.
That may be in a form we might describe as illness or it may be abstract concepts/visions which become a reality.

/overlong reply. :)

feather, there's a school of thought that says that time did in fact slow down for you as time is experiential. Not sure if I subscribe to that school, just saying.

Yup. Like you I'm not sure I subscribe either but time is relative I suppose.
Sometimes the hours 'appear' to go by like minutes other times minutes go by like hours.
