I couldn't home school Alex. If he can't do something straight away, he gets really mad & starts chucking things around. He doesn't do that at school, but he does it here, and needs to be forced or cajoled, so that it's bloody hard work!

Mine does that too... and he has better aim than I do so it gets dangerous...he's nailed people between the eyes from 5-10 ft away more than once. The only thing I have going for me is he's still afraid of me. I turn everything off, no TV/movies, no toys, no food, no drinks until he does what I put in front of him.

And no, I have very limited amounts of patience, but the poor kid has seen me go toe to toe with his father, he knows better than to mess with mommy...she gets the timeout stool and vinegar out lol.

Well I'm dead chuffed with Alex now, 'cause H is off work, & is knocking the bathroom to bits. Them two have just been to B&Q for building stuff in my car, which I was waiting for so me & Sarah can take the dogs out (mine's bigger than his).

Al's just bollocked his dad, because as usual, he was giving me orders to load my arms with gear out of the boot to carry in doors! Alex said, "Hey - we'll do it ourselves, and she's not to carry anything, 'cause she's just had her stitches out". Little honey.

I don't know why we're obsessed with them. They're little cretins half the time.

I felt really good at Easter. We went camping at a bonny place in Wales called Aberafon, and could see dolphins swimming in the bay - amazing sunsets & 5 x as many stars in the sky at night than are visible in densely populated areas.

I had just got in from a 12 hour night-shift, and was knackered, but I heard the crying upstairs. So rushed up and brought her downstairs, so the ex could get some more kip, and lay her down to change her nappy on the waist height table. As I released her nappy, full of that lovely green stuff, she projectile-pooped and I was splattered with this lovely blessing.

I just laughed, and laughed, and laughed. Then I hugged her, and genuinely thanked her, then we got cleaned up.

The room was a mess though.
