It was a reminder of how such an amazing creature has been so badly treated by humans.

I cringed before watching it, because I've seen the way some people train bears to dance, with monstrous cruelty.

But that bear loved him, judging by the way it came bounding along when he called to it.Those food rewards & cuddles he was giving it are just like you use when training a dog. It looked like the bear was enjoying itself, the same way dogs do when you give them the attention & mental stimulation of teaching them to do stuff.

I'm on the path of negotiating keeping a pair of our piglets. My plan is to raise them within the family so that they have strong ties to us and then train them as attack pigs.

There is no 'dangerous pigs' act.

I had originally hoped to do this with a pair of lambs but it fell through

I also fully intend to do the same with a pair of adders. I will catch them young and get their trust. They can then live under and around my van. If people get past the pigs, they'll have to run the gauntlet with the adders.

Working with the animal kingdom is great.

I ain't got the bottle for geese gilly. We have two pairs of Canada geese. One pair has seven goslings. You can't get near them. They'd literally tear you to shreds.....

I did help capture a forlorn black swan a few weeks back though. We've re-homed it here on a small lake and found it a mate. They are currently doing what mated swans do these birds know me now so if things carry on as they are, I may have an attack swan or two by next autumn.

Yes, when I was 7, we visited (farming) family in Ireland, and a flock of their geese tried to kill me.

I don't doubt it at all. A 7 year old would be child's play to a nesting goose in the singular, let alone a flock!
