That sounds like Gwithian Towans to me Jhads. Of course there's other places like it but GT is just one of them places. A group of wooden huts right next to the sea and well off the beaten track. I've known a few people that lived there and I've always been green with envy. Our place is about 3 miles inland :( Still, we are afforded some protection from the harsh sea wind by that :)

You mean this place, near Hayle? :D

Been there, highly recommended

For a holiday maybe DG, but I'm looking somewhere to live all year round.

Ah maybe they've returned them all to holiday lets. A few years ago most of them were occupied all year round by people renting them cheap. Though looking at that website it does imply that they don't own and run them all as holiday lets so maybe the all year round ones are still available :dunno:

EDIT: actually I don't think that's the ones I meant. The site plan looks all wrong. I think that may be another place in the Towans.
EDIT2: Yeah that's definitely not the ones, the ones I'm on about were right next to the beach those ones are back on the road.
Sunset Surf next to the kitesurfing centre, I think that's the ones I was on about looking at it on Google maps.

Cornwall is now an expensive place to live Jhado.

You might find a reasonably cheap property to rent/buy in one of the less desirable areas, Redruth or Truro, but the nice rural coastal bits, unless you're rich forget it mate.

Sorry DG but um rubbish :D
There's plenty of nice cheap places about. Admittedly not many of them right next to the beach but heh...
Right Move is not always your friend :D

Aye, like I said, if you stick to things like Right Move, the cheap places are few and far between. That said, my step-daughter's place was found on there and I reckon she's got a blinding deal. It's like most places though, if you're in the area, reading local papers, looking in shop windows and speaking to people, you can find places that involve no agents and which you deal direct with the 'owner'.

My place is £30PW all in :D It is reliant on me doing some work for them though.

EDIT: It's also worth mentioning that in general, renting/buying anything down south is gonna be expensive compared to oop norf.

I would say there are many throughout dubs, what I call watchers that have by now noticed what is happening in their immediate environments, some see more, what they want to etc.

Where we are right now in reality is a zero percent deflationary model on banking terms8, nobody saw it because it has come very slowly. The entire systems are in free fall and the so called anti christ has control of the money. We are in a think not era.

The time to prepare in earnest is now, watch as the markets across the globe dump money on top of dead money, watch what is happening in Japan, which has the highest debts and no raw materials, the last time they were in this situation just before the last war, when they were starved of energy by the west. This model is now in full flow in Iran ws we speak, being starved into submission.

History is about to repeate itself, the former pollitical models have been flipped, but the same, the crooks are going to cover their tracks with millions of dead people at war, so see what you see, but prepare.

As grim as that is App, it absolutely matches what I see. We are on the next revolution of a long played spiral. This time we're an octave up in terms of the potential damage to the earth and it's people. Chess pieces have been arranged by some skilled players and the majority that are on the other side don't really know how the pieces move and therefore can't see that mate is very near.
As we type, fat cats are sitting in a room in Washington ostensibly thrashing out a deal which even Geithner admits would only buy the dollar another couple of months. That may be just long enough for the rook and the horsey to make their final charge :dunno:

Despite all this I still have hope. The time when people such as yourself are called upon by the unskilled slaves to the rhythm to get them through may be very near. I've seen enough like you dotted about this little land to think that there's a chance, if people are open to help, co-operation and getting some dirty hands and aching backs. Down here there are many who have their feet in the soil and their heads on their shoulders. You just have to look behind the Discoverys and Range Rovers to see them tinkering away. I'm hoping that's the same in places I don't know.

The councillors are speaking of uprisings in the cities. Perhaps when the time comes that the dogs are turned on the youth and the disenfranchised, the dogs may choose to instead bite their masters. My time spent at UKPoliceOnline has shown me there are certainly some in their ranks that realise what's afoot. The plan to replace the old skool bobby with heartless thugs is far from complete and that may be a timing mistake by the orchestra conductors :dunno:

Laws and contingency plans are one thing, putting them into action is another....

I am very much the junior amongst those who have helped me to get where we are today, several no longer walk here, my job is already done in many ways, the avenues and alternates are already walking their walk. Maybe I expose myself to the rythum in many ways, but I care lile at my time of life.

As everyone knows, I say things as I have done them or see it, I have worked for the men without hats, so I know how they think, they are not in the slightest interested in me, they know how the majority thinks and will act regardless, that they will feed off of.

Doom and gloom are not my forte, doing things tor myself is, for as long as possible, that's what counts. Others here could be doing a lot more for themselves right now, some will, most won't, that's life, I wish them well.

Are you going to write a book Dubs, I'm about half way into mine, keep a look out on the W's3 under the title, The Apprentiship.

Everything we have done, the people we have helped from all over the globe will be in there, all for free, no money made, just the buzz.

Full step by step courses on making stuff, to survival from my military days.

Here is my first attempt at some history, with help from many of the people most no longer with us.
