So back on topic - nobody knows if it will all end in tears or not. Even if it doesn't last, they might both have a great time. I hope they do.

He might be a cocklodger. She might be a control freak who likes the idea of having an impoverished partner, because she wields 'power' in a relationship by being the one holding the purse-strings. There could be any number of issues, like there always can be in any relationship.

I don't much like the assumption suggested that his unworthiness of her, or his motivation is just to use her as a meal-ticket, being a foregone conclusion because he's not wealthy & she, presumably, is - like he has nothing valuable to offer if he doesn't have cash. Maybe I'm just a romantic.

Maybe he'll get involved with helping her. It's not so easy to categorise people. Her business drive might rub off on him.

Plus a lot of people who run businesses have managers in place, so they actually don't spend that much time grafting themselves. There are lots of variables. Wouldn't you want to hope they can be good for each other?
