Dr. Stephen Maturin: They're exhausted. These men are exhausted. You've pushed them too hard.
Capt. Jack Aubrey: Stephen, I invite you to this cabin as my friend. Not to criticise nor to comment on my command.
Dr. Stephen Maturin: Well, shall I leave you until you're in a more harmonious frame of mind.
[he stands and is about to leave]
Capt. Jack Aubrey: What would you have me do, Stephen?
Dr. Stephen Maturin: [turns back to him and knows what to say] Tip the ship's grog over the side.
Capt. Jack Aubrey: Stop their grog?
Dr. Stephen Maturin: Nagle was drunk when he insulted Hollom. Did you know that?
Capt. Jack Aubrey: Stop "300" years of privilege and tradition. I'd rather have them three sheets to the wind than face a mutiny.
Dr. Stephen Maturin: You see I'm rather understanding of mutinies. Men pressed from their homes, confined for months aboard a wooden prison...
Capt. Jack Aubrey: I respect your right to disagree with me, but I can only afford one rebel on this ship. I hate it when you talk of the service in this way. It makes me feel so very low. You think I want to flog Nagle? A man who hacked the ropes that sent his mate to his death? Under MY orders? Do you not see? The only things that keep this wooden world together are hard work...
Dr. Stephen Maturin: Jack, the man failed to salute. There's hierarchies even in nature. There is no disdain in nature. There is no...
Capt. Jack Aubrey: Men must be governed! Often not wisely, but governed nonetheless.
Dr. Stephen Maturin: That's the excuse of every tyrant in history, from Nero to Bonaparte. I, for one, am opposed to authority. It is an egg of misery and opression.

Capt. Jack Aubrey: You've come to the wrong shop for anarchy, brother...

The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you.. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables so that, they may be ever seeing but never perceiving, and ever hearing but never understanding; otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!

How old are you, mate? You must be about 50, right?
Please note that the big brave 'mercenary' *laughs uncontrollably*...sorry about that...always runs away when you ask him a direct question. Can't show his face when asked to. Can't even answer a simple question like this.

As it happens, I know for a fact that he's in his early fifties. Now you may very well wonder, why does someone who's old enough to be a grandparent behave like an eight year-old? Doesn't it ever get embarrassing?

I think the answer to this is it's mainly a lack of maturity brought about by limited mental faculties. The world is a very complex and confusing place for people like him, and that's why they need to lash out at others all the time. Also, he's suffering from a functional psychopathic disorder, which is a very debilitating condition, and we should all greatly sympathise with this, even though it means he himself is incapable of such feelings.

Ask yourself which person on the forum the following video most resembles. No prizes for guessing:

Bear in mind that Cartman is a 10 year-old.

BTW, I'm sorry if this thread has got off topic, it wasn't entirely my fault.

First of all I aint your mate :spank:
Yes of course I run away  unlike some who would go snivelling to mods blah blah blah :coffee:
Some people have a job to do, funny you posted something about the DRC, keep an eye on that btw in the next year ;)

I also behave as conditions dictate whether meeting Presidents, Heads of Defence , the people who make it happen, or talking to 2 bob cunts like yourself..who at the end of the day will just bang a few words out on a forum...all in a days work ;)

The big bad world may be complex to one like yourself who gets all the info from RT and other various dubious outlets , but the reality is this £ $ £ $

I remember when i was banged up in Belmarsh on the explosive charges :spank: :killinme: they had to do the " interview" for the judge...a very immature individual :hahano: . Well the immature individual had all ready done the deal with the intell services (wanted the location of some dead uns ) :marx: thus rendering a not guilty, case dismissed and costs awarded :emb: :secret:
Thank you for your input wub wub it really made me happy that you posted about me :bla: :bla:

Calm down, mate, you'll give yourself a hernia at your age.

It's funny that you now say "it's all about the £$£$" because previously you have continually defended Anglo-American / EU-NATO foreign policy. So which one is it? Are NATO in Mali to help out the poor Africans, or is it to exploit them? Because I feel pretty confident that it's to exploit them, in which case defending the British foreign policy is pretty asinine and hypocritical, isn't it? Why do you feel so proud and so desperate to defend your military career if it's "all about the £$£$"? Doesn't make much sense, does it?

I understand that you don't care whether people live or die.

To any kind of decent human-being, to say that they don't "give a fuck" about conservatively hundreds of thousands of people being killed, not to mention the huge amount of cancers caused by depleted uranium, and the almost incalculable social cost would be unthinkable. It's just unthinkable for even defenders of the Iraq war to say that. Even Tony Blair claims to feel remorse for the people that died. And as we've now established that it's "all about the £$£$" that makes not "giving a fuck" even more reprehensible. And you can't defend it by saying, "oh, it was on another forum". It doesn't make any difference where it was, to any right thinking person it would just be repulsive. To you, it's normal.

As for your comments on me, you're welcome to your opinion. If you want to insult people that care whether people live or die then that reflects more on you than me, I assure you.
The true measure of a man is not his intelligence or how high he rises in this freak establishment. The true measure of a man is this: how quickly he can respond to the needs of others and how much of himself he can give - Philip K. Dick.
