As mentioned in other threads here, UKIP are on the rise in the UK (well in England anyway)

So Why? Why are ordinary decent-thinking people voting for parties like UKIP? I mean, lets face it....apart from most of them being nothing more than disenchanted closet Tories, a few of them are quite clearly mentally ill. Enforced euthanasia? More ''physical exercise for young people in order to prevent homosexuality''? What the fuck...

But despite all that, people are voting for them. & the reason is simply this: they're now so desperate to get out of the EU that they'll vote for anyone who proposes to take us out, even the Village Idiot party, in order to send a message to the 'mainstream' political parties, who simply aren't listening to them.

There is a lesson here that people need to learn, and quickly. The EU is all about causing extremism...its happening all over Europe & its a DELIBERATE PROCESS!

Wake up Europe, ffs!

Leaving aside the points made in the OP, I think it's pretty pointless to ask for a referendum on the EU when it's definitely going to collapse economically anyway. As was intended from the start. It's just a stepping stone to the next raft of even bigger 'integration'.
The true measure of a man is not his intelligence or how high he rises in this freak establishment. The true measure of a man is this: how quickly he can respond to the needs of others and how much of himself he can give - Philip K. Dick.

Yep, I said that the English Democrats look like ''a more interesting/valid'' option than UKIP to vote for in order to get us out of the EU.

As far as I'm aware, there are no 'BNP thugs' in their party. Can you back that accusation up with some evidence?

Sure
On 17 November 2011, the chairman of the English Democrats, Robin Tilbrook, met with Sergey Yerzunov, a member of the executive committee of the Russian right wing group Russky Obraz.[61] Shortly after, Obraz announced that they were now in alliance with the English Democrats.[62] Other members of this alliance include Serbian Obraz, Movement 1389, Golden Dawn, Dane's Party, Slovenska Pospolitost, Czech Labour Party and Noua Dreaptă.

Since 2010, a number of former members of the BNP have joined the project, with the party chairman quoted as saying that "they will help us become an electorally credible party."[63] In an April 2013 interview, Tilbrook said that about 200-300 out of the party's membership of 3000 were former BNP members. He said it was "perfectly fair" that such people would "change their minds" and join a "moderate, sensible English nationalist party".[64]

In February 2013 Tilbrook and Uncles joined forces with anti-Muslim and white supremacist groups the South East Alliance, English National Resistance, English Volunteer Force, Casuals United, Britain First and March for England in an abortive attempt to protest outside the home of Abu Qatada. This alliance is geared "towards militancy, campaigning and direct action".[65][unreliable sour

Well according to wiki, yes it would appear that a number of former BNP members have allied themselves with the party, along with a number of other unsavoury characters. That probably applies to 'mainstream' parties too though. I'll bet there are a few former BNP members who have joined the Labour party for example.

Anyway, I shan't be voting for them now, knowing those connections.

& this is another facet to this problem, one I was discussing recently on TZ. WHY is it that all the anti-EU votable options are right-wing?? Why is there not one single ''middle of the road'' anti-EU party....not just here in the UK, but ANYWHERE...even though its now blatantly obvious what the EU & its agenda really is??

Slightly suspicious that in my opinion....

Must be a lefty conspiracy :coffee:

The EU is nothing compared to the financial/banking globalisation that rides roughshod over any locally or nationally based self autonomy.

The EU is the real strawman. It is currently being Fd in tha A by the IMF (c.f. Greece, Cyprus, Spain, Italy etc).

Exit from the EU won't change a fucking thing.

If we are going to do it, do it Iceland style.

Of course it would!

You just said it...

or Greenland style, etc. We aren't in the euro, we don't have to play their game, we just tell the cunts in Brussels to go fuck themselves...it really is as simple as that.

No it wouldn't. Some of the worst elements of the EU are based in the UK.

Oh dear ol' Blighty with your City of London, your wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, your aristocracy and your Bullingdon club. You as the spearhead of Americanising Europe and filling their supermarkets with processed food, our workplaces with no representation, our Health Service with privatisation..

How could I have doubted you?

Now DG has shown me the way with his rofl emoticon.

Andrew Brons, a former Chair of the National Front and until recently one of the British National Party’s MEPs, will launch a new far-right party this weekend – one he and his supporters hope will finally kill off the BNP.

The British Democratic Party (BDP) launches tomorrow in a village hall in Leicestershire, as the hardline alternative for disillusioned BNP members and supporters.

Where you are consistently missing the point is that you talk in terms of geography instead of people, corporations and institutions who laugh at your quaint but defunct distinctions.

Top Tories/business whores know this, backbench backwoodsmen are still pining for Camelot and the Empire.
Nationalism is a dead duck and thank fuck.
