This looks like fun, how do you play? is it like Battleships?

It's very pervy too, so that;s good............

Are you sure it's the game that's pervy? ;)

I hoped my games of chess would work out like the Thomas Crown affair, but I gave up on that some years ago:

The true measure of a man is not his intelligence or how high he rises in this freak establishment. The true measure of a man is this: how quickly he can respond to the needs of others and how much of himself he can give - Philip K. Dick.

I'm sorry, I feel really bad about that.

I did offer you a draw three times!

Did you? I didn't see that come up. I probably would've taken it....... looks like it's about to go one way or another now though after a lot of fannying about!

I assumed you were trying to win. Maybe you don't receive it if I make a move, but it said "draw offer pending" on my screen, but then you kept moving, so I stopped offering a draw.

I'm afraid you missed the chance to checkmate me earlier. When I played 38...Qc6, I couldn't find a move that didn't lose instantly for a while, but I thought that was okay because I could drop the queen back if you checked me. I could see that you could then check me on d6, but I thought I could just hide the king in the corner, but this doesn't work, because you've got Qa3 and then Qa7 mate. If you go back and look at the position after 39 moves, it's completely lost for black, you just need to play 40. Qd6+, and it's mate in two, and there was nothing I could do.

Gutted. it's been a long slog this game - looks like you've finally got the upper hand! I've played the ending very badly but I just couldn't find a way through. Knew I should've looked at that queen position more.

Ooof i didn't see it coming that quickly... thought I might squeeze in a couple more moves.
Well done... you defended excellently & made it very difficult to find any way through.....
........next time!

I got the computer to do an analysis of the game.....

Inaccuracies: 16 = 24.2% of moves

Mistakes: 8 = 12.1% of moves

Blunders: 6 = 9.1% of moves

I've gone & looked at the moves it highlights as inaccurate, but only a machine could be that efficient!

FYI I have been using the App for this the last couple of days, it's a much better way to experience the game! And the added bonus of being able to contemplate moves on the bog and notifications when it's your move.
If you have any issues with the forum or it's members, for a speedier response, rather than pressing the report button, please post them here: sanctumzone.co.uk/forum/Forum-Projects--...scussion-thread.html

Is this for both players, what were the blunders? One of them was exchanging off queens, obviously. My letting you fork my rook and queen was a blunder too.

Just fucked right up in my white game there... meant to take that pawn with the bishop but got distracted. :/

I don't that list of moves is going to encourage more people to play chess, unfortunately...
The true measure of a man is not his intelligence or how high he rises in this freak establishment. The true measure of a man is this: how quickly he can respond to the needs of others and how much of himself he can give - Philip K. Dick.

Headache! I'll highlight the moves it highlights shortly... unfortunately I don't know how to copy it in its format.

No, I drag my pc to the bog when I go for a dump.

I was curious because I can't see how it can be easier or better to play on a tiny screen.

When you go to a game it illustrates your opponents last move rather than just highlighting where they moved to and it generally has a better user interface although I have to concede it is a smaller screen.

I've just given up any hope I had left against WUB by giving my rook away for no reason... I was beaten anyway. Think that makes it 7-0 to WUB!

Did you mean to give your rook away in the other game WUB or was it a mistake?

There are some great features on the site. The chess mentor thing is really good. I like the analyze board as well... I've tried the conditional moves thing a couple of times but it's not been of any use yet... it basically automates your next move if you predict your opponents move.
I've played a couple of random people on it as well winning 2 & losing 1 so far.... the one I lost I thought I was playing the computer because it basically had me within about 6 moves although I managed to drag it out to 12 I think, but now I'm pretty sure it was a human-android hybrid.
