Personally I think it's down to the person who made the comment to explain it. Which as yet hasn't happened.

I don't frequent many other forums so may sometimes be unaware of previous etc. I also appreciate things can be read a certain way. I just hate the thought of any members, new or old, interpreting something a certain way and then not thinking any other members can be arsed to pipe up about it. I've been on the receiving end and it's not nice, particularly when you think you have a 'relationship' of sorts within a group. I avoid people like this in real life too, but at least they have the good grace to say it to your face so you have a chance to thump em.

The best you can do to resolve any potential misunderstandings or misinterpretations is to ask a poster to clarify what they meant.
That's been offered, I got a response, Gilly did not.
