Consciousness is of the moment. It is here and now. It could be said to transcend time. If time 'stopped', consciousness could be quite content in one 'moment'. Logic, by it's very nature, with rules, patterns etc, is not of the moment. It exists as an abstract in our minds (which are not consciousness), across many moments/time. Logic is a mental exercise/tool.
You are yet again in error and wearing ignorance on your sleeve.
RB obviously either does not know this, thus he is not awake, or he is awake and communicates to people whilst they are logically asleep
Your little rofl is in fact rofling at thee self. You find your ignorance amusing for some reason. It isn't Brand that's the dotty dullard. It's your good self with all this shit chatting you indulge yourself in. Just sayin like.

Ok, within the confines of this forum what solutions for society would you offer?

Ok well lets see......
I can offer a solution about society, I'm not sure whether I have already done so in another thread or not. perhaps that was on DIF.
Well oioioi for a start I would completely alter the education system of the UK, where education would be founded on ones own experiences of life and not the symbolic representations of others.
I would have topics about human rights and how confirming ones own human rights could effect the rights of others.
I would have farms in cities not simply a few goats and chickens for primary school children to pet and feed, but actually working farms where the community could learn about livestock, slaughter & butchery, where animals are treated with the upmost respect before their slaughter.

Give people back the control over their food choices and diets, and make a positive impact into community life and industrial farming.
No thanks. I don't like blubber

Tiz a strawman to say I am defending RB. What I did in that post was merely point out your ignorance on the subjects of consciousness and logic :coffee: Not so much a defence of Brand as an attack on ignorance...

What is beyond question is his project to overthrow capitalist society and to do so through infiltration of political parties, institutions and, above all, by the use of “community organisers”. Anybody who thought claims on this blog of Cultural Marxism influencing even the Tory Party were exaggerated can now think again. Alinsky was the first begetter of ACORN, the sinister organisation that tried to gerrymander the American electorate''

It's because China will soon be trading a lot more with the UK, I tell you it's a change coming and Brand is installing an apathy to vote...
the voting system is indeed broken, and RB is only encouraging the inevitable.
Marxist big society dictatorship.

So after your whole "hanging with the elite and public spectacle and articles in New Statesmen" objection about Brand you offer this!

You offer up now an article by Gerald Warner form The Telegraph. Warner also writes for the Spectator (Atlantacist RW establishment paper) and had a forward of his book written by Thatcher herself!

I mean really! THIS bloke!

Geraldwarner

After your whole "hanging with the elite and public spectacle and articles in New Statesmen" objection about Brand you offer this!

:cruiselarf:

:field:

Yes I know what they are Mikey Mikey, it's just that there are reports of Milibands & Cameron going for the Big Society thing....

All very much Marxist dictatorship common purpose 'nudge nudge' the stuff that Brian Gerrsh often reports about.
So it appears that RB might be a 'community organizer' working for the Marxists. :chuckle:

The big society is about the Tories wanting to do less and have the folk do more. Classic toryism.....

Not exactly classic socialism/communism/Marxism...

It matters not. The Big society is government penny pinching. It's them shunning responsibilities and passing those on to the people. It couldn't be more Tory if it stuck a spoon in it's mouth, donned a gimpsuit and went for lunch at the Ritz...

No oioioi.
But it's a good analogy.
Me mouthing off about the injustice of industrial farming and then getting into a relationship with someone in industrial farming.
would be a good example of what RB is actually doing, in the context about his comments of the injustice of elites.

It's a good example of the double standards you hold others to. According to you RB's g/f should represent his political views yet yours doesn't.

We are of course talking about your mother but I'm willing to go along with your fantasy for the sake of the analogy.

No it's quite easy to have a relationship with someone who has an opposing political view.
what I mean is if RBs views are so strong as he's based his new identity on them, surely in such case that those views mean that much to RB, to then select a girlfriend out of his numerous possibilities, IE most women are not elites. is in that context totally hypocritical.

That statement, which beggars belief even in the political fairground we now inhabit, is not taken from some far-out Trotskyite samizdat, but from the official Conservative Party introduction to David Cameron’s Big Idea – the creation of a “Neighbourhood army” of 5,000 full-time community organisers to implement his grotesque fantasy called “Big Society”.

If twere 'leftist' it would be diametrically opposed to that no?
