It would be entirely possible to start a poll right now with the choices, lift ban, keep ban.
The op could concisely give enough info for anyone to make an informed choice.
The ban was correctly implemented. All beit a bit late.
What happens next is down to btfroth and the members.
So far all i see is me being asked questions :dunno: and some gifs and quips.
No one has cared enough to start a poll. I've done it. Did it with sod. Was the top voted poll for a good while iirc. :coffee:

I have asked questions [not necessarily of you] so that I could make an informed opinion. They haven't been answered as yet.

This does however beg the question [again, not singling you out] how we ended up having retrospective dialogue on a forum billed as consensus led?

The gifs = humour - The quips such as "A murderer is a murderer - no mitigating circumstances will be entertained " appears well suited to what has transpired.......

I don't know who Mike is or who CF was, but I've just had a quick look through the Russel Brand thread to see CF's posts, as linked to a couple pages back.

He didn't seem like that much of a twat. I've seen the same shitty attitude from others on here at times, and they're still posting.

So bt has knocked on the front door. Good news. I take that email as genuine. Bt was a good and constructive member.
It's a shame cousin frothy wasn't. I have no time whatsoever for folk who get off on being deliberately antagonizing and disruptive. I stand by my views on frothy.

But. Given that bt was a different face...i'd rather have bt anyday.

I won't be starting that poll for the reasons given previously - but I'm sure one will appear. :)

As it stands a flaw has been overlooked and glossed over - so this decision will be made retrospectively and, without the very person being discussed here to speak for himself. It didn't need to be that way.

A definitive 'No Socks Policy' was used to ban BT. That is beyond dispute.

That you say "Nothings Ever Final" oioioi suggests a discussion could have been had.
The only problem being, you say it AFTER banning him, and DURING a review/discussion of that policy (should mitigating circumstances - exceptions be made in this instance?) it just doesn't fit logic.
