I use media zone > Myzone manager > Add new site article

The rest don't bother me, as I still use Media Zone to add youtube videos when I find something worthy.
The headlines under NEWS, unless it actually displays the latest headlines, is just sitting there unused. It would be cool to have it display all the articles in small windows without going into separate categories.

Online petition zone and trade zone...i dunno, I guess they could go... also from the bottom of the forum if it's not being used.

Also under the INFO tab there's Forum latest news map, again, empty.... that could go.
I mainly use categories to check/edit existing articles, but as I said, it would be lot easier if the articles were displayed under headlines.

All forms of media are now in Media Zone.

I don't know how to turn links from the bottom of the page on n off, that'll have to wait for Nov.

I don't really know where to start posting after all that, erm about the news stories is the intension to keep building them up into a multiple of pages or are they to be deleted after a certain period ?

(That's the kind of question one askes when one is not sure what to ask)

Oh yes, here's a better question, the welcome notice, with the boat, its now intermingled with news stories, it's no longer at the front.
Is it being kept, if so is it being revamped (not that I say it needs revamping) and is there a way of fixing it to the front page so it's not moved along when new news stories are added.
I wonder if there's a way of placing the welcome notice onto the blue boarder area either to the left or the right of the 'SZ' content.?
Otherwise I can't personally see the point in having it unless it always appears on the SZ front page somewhere.

Note the home page still has headlines on it, but under the welcome/intro, its a plug in that automatically scrolls through all the headlines or whatever articles we like. All that stuff is on SZ, just a matter of turning it on.

This is the first time ive had some spare time to look at some of this again.

Now the home page here has had the boat thing pushed down because articles are being published or featured on the home page i think, rather than as headlines or elsewhere. I havent talked to marina about this, all i know is what ive read in the thread here, maybe you guys want them on the home page. As i said, imho an intro first that stays put might be better, perhaps we can agree on that, like how TZ is?

I'll take more of a look at it all now and see what i did on TZ because as i said, i had sorted that out much more recently.

Marina i can make SZ like TZ and turn that module on that puts the headlines on the HOME page, under the intro/welcome (and yes that welcome a board probably needs to be revamped too ..eventually. not a priority perhaps.)

but the headlines will of course get published on the 'headlines' page... as the headlines showing on the home page isnt really them showing on the home page on tz if you catch my drift, its just the plug in thats been told to appear on the home page that is pulling data from the headlines page.

I do agree with what I understand, that to have news stories available under the static welcome notice is a good idea, so the news stories can be flicked through/clicked on by observers and the welcome notice stays put.

Looking at blue's posts on this page, it's really obvious that he is a troll with no interest in the site isn't it.....

I may be being a bit thick or cloth eyed bit I can't see this Media Zone tab.
Can anyone submit news or do you have to have permission?
