Good job so far on the News guys! :D

A couple of things; If I use the HOME tab I get the latest headlines but if I use the NEWS tab there's nothing under latest headlines. There are currently 3 tabs for the News team HOME, NEWS & MEDIA ZONE, this would seem to be a bit excessive atm! Which of the drop down features in each tab are you using? Perhaps we need to merge a few options under the MEDIA ZONE tab.

Also any YouTube videos, it would be useful if there was a thread for them in the YouTube sub-forum as well so they can be discussed. Are there a lot of videos in there?

Not sure what you mean oi.
I use news categories to check out the stories. I would imagine the headlines tab under news should be automated with the latest headlines, like the front page that shows the articles when featured. I had a look at TZ, they have the headlines on the HOME page, so I'd imagine it would have to look something like that here too, except on a separate page. I dunno.

I have no permission to edit the HEADLINES under NEWS, it's empty now. Maybe some admin tweak is necessary to have the featured news like on the HOME page to go under HEADLINES as well.

@marina, what I'm trying to work out basically is which dro downs you require rather than which Tabs, then I can see about which tabs are needed.

I'm thinking under the MEDIA ZONE tab Should be Headlines, News categories, SZ News (that's for site related news I reckon), Video & Film (we need to talk at some point about how best to incorporate this with the YT channel) and lastly SOCIAL MEDIA as a sub menu in MEDIA ZONE.

As for tweaking access levels I'm clueless as to what I'm doing for publishing rights as I've never dealt with it so would prefer to wait for Nov to return to oversee that aspect, sorry about that but... :emb:
