I can't remember the last time I bought new clothes - my current wardrobe is almost, quite literally, medieval in age.

ETA: If I joined one of those historical re-enactment groups I could turn up in my normal clothes and not look out of place

I have a bit of an affinity for all things 50s, but I reckon most of my era do, albeit secretly. Anything post 70s just seems so drab and conformist in comparison.

Never heard of a comb over abs? Or are you at the double comb over stag - my heart goes out to you. Failing that a can of matt black from Halfords can be convincing in the right light.

As for the shorts - if you wear pants underneath.....I'll take back the "perv" allusion.
However if you are a hang loose typa girl - I respectfully decline tea and crumpet at chez vouz. Or pin those knees firmly together.
