FACT!

& look how good McLaren turned out as a manager.... moderate, like Moyes. Like most of them in fact, compared to Taggart.
So gutted.

Link? Photo's or it never happened, etc, etc .

Didn't Moyes say no then?

Not where I read it, can't find my original source. Having said that I've read a fair few columns today!

Well, if this doesn't quell the doubters...

You Man U fans have had a phenomenal era under Fergie, be thankful for that. I think these things come in cycles... is it likely that the same level of success you are used to will continue under new management? The next couple of seasons are going to be interesting I think, well as interesting as the preposterous money laden Premiership can get. Maybe a team outside "the big 4" could win the league. Maybe it will be a new era of dominance for City. It will probably be a two horse race as usual, but it would be good to watch different horses going for it.
I might get back into footie :D

I'm sure there are plenty of non-league teams in your area that would love your support.

Saying that, the Liverpool ladies team is looking pretty good this season. Loadsa new players - Farah Williams from local rivals Everton is a class act and there are players from Sweden & the US in the team - and they started the season with a good drubbing of the uber Arsenal team.
Might be a good place to meet some local lasses as well. :norty:

Ladies playing football! What kind of madness is that!? :D

I could have a look at non-league teams, ladies footie. I'm still a Liverpool fan really I suppose, I'm just disillusioned with modern football... if we started winning everything, it would be a different story though probably :D Football would be great again :chuckle:

It's not the monkey tennis it used to be. The standard of goalkeeping is still pretty poor but every other aspect of the game has improved dramatically.
I think one of the beeb channels is showing some league games. Well worth watching a game if you get a chance. :)

I can recommend netball, won't help you get over your addiction, but may add to the pleasure :D

I went to a women's international near where I used to live, and it was a goalless draw. That says something about the malaise that my hometown induces on everything and everyone that comes into contact with it.
The true measure of a man is not his intelligence or how high he rises in this freak establishment. The true measure of a man is this: how quickly he can respond to the needs of others and how much of himself he can give - Philip K. Dick.

The girly-goalies tend to not be as quick to react as the chaps and dealing with high balls (stop it) leaves a lot to be desired. :)

What they don't do is dive and squeal like jessies at the slightest contact. And no getting in the face of the officials.

[edit] No, I am not a perv. I just like footy. Mind you, that Alex Scott is pretty smoking and Kelly Smith is rather attractive. :emb:
