My fault. I shouldn't have given him that Where's Wally book.

Enough.

Get shut.

If his response isn't "I'll show him who is the No.1 striker" he can fuck off.

If they offered £10 million plus Mata, I’d take that all day long:

& the sea is big & wet.
the sun is hot & yellow.

Dwayne Rooney let the whole world know yesterday that he was ‘real mad and confused’ about his situation with Man Unity.

In doing so, he opened the door for a franchise enhancement window move away from the Soccer Devils.

After Coach Moyles said he was not going to go sell Rooney, the current situation leaves him with an all you can eat buffet of food for thought.

Dubbed by Unity fans as the ‘English Freddy Adu’ in his younger years, Rooney has kicked in a whole load of goalshots for the franchise from the Old Trafford Center since arriving from Evertown Franchise Club in the fall of ’04.

Unity fans once loved Rooney, just like a fat kid loves hamburgers. Right now though, it looks like they’re going to have to say goodbye to their balding hero.

Juan Mourinho at Chelsea Franchise Club is already sniffing around like he’s a dog trying to go sniff another dog’s butt. Backed by Roman Ibrahimovic, The Special Juan has already put a bid in for Rooney which has been rejectified by Coach Moyles.

If another higher bid came in from the Blue Lions, it sure would be interesting to see what would happen.

London Arsenal have also been linked with Rooney. Coach Wagner is keen to go and buy some new soccer players and after selling the Unity their own MVP RSVP last year, it may be time for the Soccer Devils to return to sender one of their own goalshot inserters!

Although Dwayne Rooney is believed to wanna stay within the English EPL League, it is unlikely the Unity would wanna do that.

For those Unity fans, seeing him kick a goalshot in against their franchise would be like watching a kid watch their dog get hit by a freight train.

A move to some foreign overseas league would seem to be way better for Coach Moyles and his franchise. Big spending PSV and Monaco Franchise Club from the French League in France would be interested.

Barcelonia and Real Salt Lake’s Spanish franchise in Madrid would also like to have him do some soccer over in EPL Spain.

The eyes of the soccer world are fixed on Dwayne Rooney. For all the talk of this being one of the biggest franchise enhancement window moves in the history of this year, nobody can say for sure that he won’t keep on kicking goalshots in the red of Man Unity.

United have upped their offer for Pesky Fabregas to £30m + add-ons.... looks like it might happen afterall! Probably another couple of £m will sort it.
Barca manager forced to quit due to tumour(s) so dunno how they're gonna conduct their business.

I agree that United really, really need a midfield spark (Cleverley needs at least another season) but I can't see the Fabregas deal happening. It's beginning to look like United & Arsenal are going to struggle to get some decent new blood before the new season. Even Spurs have strengthened well. :O
Given that their shopping appears to be done already I'm inclined to look at Chelsea and City as the teams to beat next year. God, I hope it's not another snore fest 2 way race. zzzzzz

I watched the end of United's friendly today & some of the young players look pretty promising, in particular Januzaj & Lingard. I'm hoping that United haven't put all their eggs into the wrong basket by thinking they can make a marquee signing and not pulling it off... ie. Bale, Ronaldo or even Fabregas. They've missed out on other targets as well.... there seems to be a bit of a conspiracy against signing for United now Taggart has left and maybe Moyes just doesn't have the same pulling power. If they don't sort something soon they're gonna get left behind!
Arsenal have been viewed as a club in decline for a while with their main aspiration seemingly just to qualify for the CL... they sold half their players to Citeh probably to pay off the new ground so it's been difficult for them to compete for the top players. Chelski have got Mourinho back who attracts good players & they've got loads of money to throw about, and Citeh have signed quite a few and obviously have money to chuck about as well.
All in all with the changes of managers it's gonna be an interesting season although I can't see much change in he top four, and the title likely to go to United, Chelski or maybe Citeh. Tottenham may sneak into the top four to replace any of the above who don't have a good season.

It's so tough to sign the really elite players now because they know that they can tout themselves to around ten clubs and play them off against each other. As usual there's been tonnes of speculation, but hardly anyone has managed to pull off a massive deal. Barca got Neymar because he really wanted to go there and wasn't interested in going anywhere else, and City, PSG and Monaco have made big signings because they just don't give a shit how much they pay for, or pay to, someone. I can't see United ever signing Bale or Ronaldo, unless Ronaldo is really in the death throes of his career, because they'll never be willing to pay enough. Your best chance of signing an elite player now is if they've voluntarily run their contract down and really want to leave as in the case of van Persie and Rooney. Even then you can easily get involved in a bidding war with clubs who have bottomless coffers.

I'm also certain that when a club such as United bids for a player, other clubs throw their names into the hat just to drive the price up for the buying club (should it materialise) even though they aren't really interested. That way, it weakens the overall purchasing power of the buying club, and at the same time makes it look like the other clubs are in for all the high profile players.
I do think however that United would buy & could afford either Ronaldo or Bale, especially if Rooney is offloaded. But I think both players are happy where they are currently & their respective clubs don't want to sell & aren't worried about cashing in. Certainly if Rooney goes, United will have to buy somebody not only of that mould, but somebody with a high calibre image to flog shirts.

Looks like Rooney going to Chelsea could be a step closer. Apparently terms and conditions have been agreed between Colleen and John Terry, it's just down to the club and player now.

The player list is up now for Fantasy Premier League so I will set the league up in the next day or so.

Taking into account the preseason signings so far I reckon I'm just gonna pick the same team as last year. Which was pretty much the same team as the season before as well.

I think it's going to be quite difficult to pick a team and keep it if all the supposed transfer talk is even remotely true. Of course, it could all be horseshit, but surely the tabloids wouldn't lie to us.

Think I'll leave selecting the team till near KO.
Which league did you opt for WUB?

I think the consensus is to switch back to the Fantasy Premier League. I like elements of both of them, but unfortunately it's beyond my powers to combine them. AFAIK you can change your team as many times as you want between now and the kick-off, so you can select a team and change it no problem, but I'll confirm this once I've set it up.
