Barcelona have rejected United's latest bid for Cesc.... maybe they're playing hardball... I was looking forward to this transfer window but it's not going well at all so far!

I've set the new league up, you can join here:

fantasy.premierleague.com/

The code required to join is 414578-105504. If you know anyone else that might like to join by all means invite them to do so.

Edit: forgot to mention, you can make an infinite number of transfers between now and the start of the season, so there's no need to settle your team yet.
The true measure of a man is not his intelligence or how high he rises in this freak establishment. The true measure of a man is this: how quickly he can respond to the needs of others and how much of himself he can give - Philip K. Dick.

This is what I mean about how hard it is to tie deals up nowadays:

www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2892/transfer-zo...-target?ICID=AR_RS_1

£32 million for Higuain. And Liverpool reckon Suarez is worth £55 million. It's completely absurd.

I thought the silly days of player values had passed. Evidently not.

Suarez would be a bloody good fit for Arsenal. All they need now is a new defence and a couple of mid-fielders and they could challenge for the title. :D

Has anyone tried picking a squad? Very few to choose and it's impossible to pick 15 without going over budget :conf:

You should try following Newcastle, then you'll know what a good transfer window isn't..

Supposedly he has demanded to speak to Arsenal. IMHO if he goes there that's the top four cemented for this season.oioioi wrote:

Yes, there are very few bargains to be had. It's advisable to fill your bench with the cheapest players available.

Somethings amiss, I'm not given the opportunity to sign half of those players

Are you using the menus correctly? At the top on the right where it says "all players" you need to use the drop down menus to look at all the players that are available.

I've signed up anyway, cheers for the code.

That wasn't easy! But I managed to squeeze Van Persie and two Chelsea defenders in

Nope.

I can't get to my squad now! Under Players it shows me folk who play the game, not footy players :conf:
