Apparently Fergie's record breaking autobiography contains as many as 42 factual errors. Some boring bastard actually checked all the facts and decided he wasn't happy so wrote to the publishers for a full refund, which they offered. They are minor details such as 'we got 11 years out of Roy Keane' when in fact it was 12.
The publishers were given 24 hours to withdraw the book, but because it was Fergie they got a week!

I think if you buy an autobiography and expect to get something factually accurate then you're pretty naive. I bet the phrases "I should have handled that completely differently" and "I was completely wrong about that" don't feature too often in that book. They rarely do in autobiographies.

He's Scottish. I'm sure most of it was lost in translation.

I saw a bit of England-Germany, and then watched Brazil beat Chile later. England are so far behind Brazil, it's untrue. If you were watching your first games of football, you'd think England and Brazil's matches were played under different rules.
