The only sketchy comments on Harris having been arrested under caution seem to be unconfirmed, and those saying it was him reckon he was released without charge - unlike the ones questioned earlier who are all on bail. Has anyone seen any proper reports about it?

All I can find atm is Mark Williams Thomas* tweeting that Rolf had been questioned under caution on the 29th Nov.

Which kinda means nothing yet really eh?

Of course you can never be certain and the best con artists are the ones who don't set off your alarms but I just don't get that vibe from him. (That's the science bit over then. )

I'll stick my neck out and say that I won't be surprised if RH was involved in tampering with kids. That's all. Not saying he did anything, just that I wouldn't be surprised. I never knew who he was except a poster at DI, and here he is cavorting with the queen and stuff, not that it means anything, just that I did not know his background, but always found him odd.

Little did I know that he is also a talented artist and his pictures catch a pretty penny. He has a lot of simple sketches out there, like his self portrait, the rolfaroo, the one below snatched $54 million from the Gulf Kingdom Qatari Royal Family.


I feel like I have been living under a rock because I have never seen the "Rolfaroo".

Fact is, I had never heard of Jimmy Saville before this news story broke. It must be shocking to find out that someone you have "known" all these years is not who you thought. It is easier to accept if you always thought they were creepy, though. And not easy to accept if you liked them. I was trying to think of a celebrity in the U.S. to compare this too. A long time popular DJ, or a childrens television presenter....

Whatever happens, I hope the truth comes out and that it leads to even more truth and revelations and that no one innocent is blamed.

The veteran BBC broadcaster Stuart Hall, 82, was tonight charged with three counts of indecent assault on girls aged between nine and 16 years old.

A live one. I'll wait to see the verdict of the court case before I comment. As long as the court case gets proper press coverage so that it's clear it was conducted properly.

The musician Gary Glitter and comedian Freddie Starr were arrested and bailed under Yewtree last month. BBC DJ Dave Lee Travis and a man in his 70s were arrested and bailed earlier in November as part of the operation classed as “others”.

Because the man in his 70's was the one alleged to be Rolf, and previous comment about it was that he'd been released but unlike the others, not on bail - suggesting he was off the hook, and possibly even being questioned in the capacity of a witness rather than a suspect. It's about time journalists started reporting things accurately. Many times you can read several articles published at the same time about an issue, and find a myriad of contradictions between them.
