Julian Assange On Ecuador Embassy Balcony 295

Julian Assange reveals life inside 'space station' embassy
London: WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange is certain he will one day go to Ecuador, he said in an interview published on Sunday, describing his life in the Ecuadoran embassy in London as "like being in a space station".

The Australian activist, 41, has been holed up in the embassy since claiming asylum on June 19 in a bid to avoid extradition to Sweden, where he faces questioning over alleged sex crimes.

Mr Assange who denies the allegations and fears Sweden would extradite him to the United States said on Sunday he was keeping busy by working 17 hours a day on the whistleblowing website.

WikiLeaks deeply embarrassed the US government in 2010 by publishing huge caches of confidential documents on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and more than 250,000 diplomatic cables from US embassies around the world.

Mr Assange supporters claim he could receive harsh treatment if sent to the US and possibly even face the death penalty.

Despite a diplomatic stalemate between Britain and Ecuador over his extradition to Sweden, Mr Assange said he was sure he would eventually go to the Latin American country.

"I think it is inevitable but I will not be marooned there," the former computer hacker said, which showed him wearing an Ecuadoran shirt with jeans and trainers as he sat in the embassy.

"From Ecuador, me and my staff could safely travel to and from a number of friendly countries such as Tunisia, Egypt, Russia, Brazil, India, Venezuela, Chile and Argentina."

Ecuador granted Mr Assange asylum on August 16 but Britain has denied him safe passage out of the country, and police are guarding the embassy in case he tries to escape.

The WikiLeaks founder said he had spent some of his early days in the embassy "training to use emergency equipment".

The Mail said was not permitted to disclose "the precise nature of the safety equipment he keeps close to his bed, nor of the contents of the documents and diagrams pinned to his wall".

Mr Assange complained that his health was "slowly deteriorating", adding that he had "a racking cough".

Nonetheless, he said he was keeping fit by using a running machine, boxing, and seeing a personal trainer reportedly an ex-soldier in Britain's elite SAS turned whistleblower every other day.

He watches TV shows including 1960s sci-fi series "The Twighlight Zone" and US political drama "The West Wing" to relax.

The WikiLeaks founder also revealed that he had teething issues with the UV lamp which is designed to replicate sunlight when he first used it before his appearance on the embassy balcony to address the media six weeks ago.

"After half an hour, one of my staff said, 'Julian, your face on one side is beetroot, and your neck as well,'" he recalled.

"I looked like a boiled lobster but the balcony was a major political moment and I thought what, what, what am I going to do?

"I decided I would have to do the other side to match."

U.S. Government Daily Press Bulletins Wednesday October 3 2012
Julian Assange Execution
Streamed on You Tube

Texas - In the second live streamed execution on You Tube Julian Assange, the founder of Wiki Leaks, was executed by hanging.

Captured by HLS agents in Brazil on September 6th Assange, whose trial ended Tuesday, was found guilty of terrorism and sentenced to death.

Assange is known for producing documents that have been proven to be forged, trying to implicate the U.S. Government in war crimes. Testimony from co-conspirators stated Assange was the leader of the conspiracy and the main author of the falsified documents that were dumped onto the world stage. Assange attempts to undermine the U.S. government and their allies' war on terrorism has made him responsible for the deaths of hundreds of American citizens.

Prosecutors credited Assange with the fall of three governments sympathetic to the United States. Assange's forgeries emboldened leftists and communists to overthrow legally elected conservative governments.

Prosecutors also suggested that the documents were the initial catalyst that created the leftist terrorist group AMF and lead to the bombing of the congressional chamber that killed President Obama. :D

Julian Assange was listed as number one on the HLS ten most wanted list. His body will be cremated and disposed of as medical waste.

Julian Assange has said he would probably have to stay in the Embassy of Ecuador for about a year.

Yeah Mikey, I have noticed ,that's why it is important to post Julian Assange side of the story, not be propagandists like almost all the rest of the world press today.

in.news.yahoo.com/assange-plans-defamati...llard-043314687.html
Sydney, Oct 8 (ANI): Controversial Wikileaks founder Julian Assange has reportedly hired a team of lawyers to pursue a defamation case against Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard.

The founder of the whistle blowing website hired legal experts to investigate suing Gillard for defamation over a claim that WikiLeaks acted 'illegally' in leaking 250,000 US diplomatic cables.

That is really bold. I doubt he will have much success but it is great to see him fighting back. 8-)

Get to the man by getting to his supporters
Vaughan Smith has been told to pay 12,000 pounds, while three others – Caroline Evans, Phillip Knightley and John Sulston – must pay 15,000 pounds each.

Five more backers – Tricia David, Joseph Farrell, Sarah Harrison, Sarah Saunders and Tracy Worcester – were ordered to pay amounts of between 3,500 and 12,000 pounds
rt.com/news/assange-backers-pay-thousands-911/

the first comment was spot on
At the base, Julian Assange has never been formally charged with any crime whatsoever, and Sweden has made a climb-down on the so called rape charges. These good people who put up bail for Julian Assange were puting up bail on one level for the man Julian Assange, but also on another and bigger level they were putting up money for freedom of speech for allof us and the right for all of us to to expose corruption and criminal activity whether it be by govts or individuals. This jugement is another smack in the face of all people in Britain and people of the world who believe in the truth and freedom of speech.the only thing that .the British justice system acheves by this filthy trick is to expose yet again that it is in itself a criminal entity in the pocket of the US using blackmail to try to get Julian Assange to surrender.

and the second one was pretty good too
Nothing illustrates the total corruption of British Justice more than this decision.
One would think that it was a command from the Queen, or an edict from the Bullingdon Club.

I heard on the news earlier that they would have to cough-up.

I'm pretty sure they considered his need to go into hiding before they stumped up the bail.

As long as he stays out of the clutches of the Americans I'll be a happy chappy.

Yep. :yup:

But the spin is that somehow Assange has robbed them. Not that this ruling has been deliberatively punitive, oh no.

Of course, had Assange not jumped bail, he would presently be in American custody facing torture and/or death.

I'd pay 12, 000 to save an innocent life myself.
