I'm not sure how you were getting redirected to the donation page because there are no redirects set for that url. The only redirects should be to the login/registration page or the home page. The login box in the top of the left column of the home page should redirect you to the forum.

Edit:
For the invalid token error you need to reload the page! A refresh won't work because the token isn't cleared as part of a refresh. The easy way to reload is to strip any content away from the end of the url in the address bar and hit return or just revisit sanctumzone.co.uk/ .

That does it!

I'm not sure why it keeps representing its self after you have accepted unless your local browser cookie policy is not accepting the 30day retention cookie.

As for the EU cookie directive it's totally stupid! Most modern sites require cookies to manage sessions and other content elements presented to the web client. The thing that is lacking is education in the use of web browsers because they all have methods available to determine how you would like cookies dealt with. I'm anti cookie and totally anti tracking and avoid it at all costs where I can. Hopefully people will have noticed that we don't have google analytics code or any other tracking scripts on the site. There are some third-party cookies/scripts required for youtube and other social media buttons etc. which will indicate your presence here to the associated organisations. I have tried to keep those to a minimum while still maintaining some functionality for visitors. All of which can be managed locally in the web client (browser). With fire fox for example you can add the noscript and the CS Light cookie plugins which enhance the control over cookies and scripts. They do add a layer of complication sometimes, if you forget to allow certain content that is required to view the things you actually choose to see. You can allow only certain domains to run scripts and cookies which saves you tweaking settings too often for your favorite that you trust.

The Sanctum Zone site is in the Euro Political Crime Zone, so in order to cover our arse we are required to comply with the nonsense dreamt up by the brainless fuckwits, who think they have the authority to dictate these BS policies. Fortunately Europe is waking up to this crap and their days are numbered! If I could spare you the pain of the cookie BS I would be doing it already. I don't like cookies as you may have guessed, so I can't comment on the flavor or quality front. I think the ones in the USA are more likely to be contaminated with GMO content.

The solutions for meeting the requirements of this stupid nanny state imposed EU policy are in the early stages of development and hopefully better solutions will become available. If they do we shall review the methods we currently use, which are probably a bit over zealous, as it should block all cookies from your machine until it has been accepted.

Sorry to anyone who is suffering as a result of this EU requirement.

We do run analytics scripts to help us analyse visitor traffic which helps us manage the system and other related site performance tasks. The system we employ is hosted and controlled by us directly on our server and no third party has access to that information.

I'm not at all upset about the EU cookie thing; I was just curious, but I do appreciate your explanation very much.

In fact, ever since they upgraded our software at work, I have had to make a whole extra click to log in - not a laborious task.

As far as our dear Frank is concerned, I hope he can overlook my silly typo and am confident he can gain the jist of my brief note to him - which as neither stern nor sharp. Ask him.

i'll put a bit of money in around October November if I remember I'm skint most the year but around harvest time may be able to find a contribution.
