Some of us did, dg. And to be fair, I count myself among them (though, to be fair again...I never intended to do so when I first posted here today).

However, there was an important issue that others were trying to address.

I can't speak for anyone else, but much of it is just my sense of humour and the length of time I have spent with irre on this forum.

Either we're a clique, and don't speak our minds when someone says things we disagree with, or we're not in which case those who speak up because they object to such comments, can be accused of ganging up.

If you say something you think will be unpalatable to a few people, you've got to expect those people will argue the point - unless they're a clique.
