Dubs matey, I have pointed the finger of blame at you in the past as being 'part of the problem'...I'll be honest about that. Also at mikey & at oioioi. Then there was the 'split', which involved a period of bad feeling & bad accusations all round...regrettable really.
Nice try, FIRST there was the split, a load of thinly veiled accusations followed (and still do).
But I hung around here as a 'member' hoping that might work out. & it might have done, except that my resentment didn't go away, in fact it increased, for the reasons you point out above. I've watched as oioioi, THE main anarchist agitator before the split....the person constantly banging on about 'consensus' & demanding votes & polls on every little thing, totally dropped all that as soon as myself nov & frog resigned & became the very thing he was railing against.
Again, not true, threads about consensus existed after the split. The only general consensus that was ever really reached was most couldn't be arsed with the process of consensus, you'd prefer it if I'd carry on against that general consensus.
THATS where my resentment about oi stems from folks....not so much what oi did before the split, more what he has (or hasn't done) since.
Oi....if you'd stuck to your principles, then at least I'd have retained some respect for you & your views, much as I may disagree with them. As it is, you are now just another hypocrite in my eyes. A sell-out.
Again, you seem disappointed that I didn't abuse my position for my 'anarchist coup'.
SZ is far more top-down moderational now than it ever was when me nov & frog admin'd this place, fact.
You do know you are making this post on a thread I started asking how people wanted a moderation issue resolving?

You're non-top down approach to dealing with forum issues is to build another forum then, and only then, do you want to enter into any form of discussion, by discussion I mean the usual complaints about me not installing an anarchist dictatorship in 'Anarchy zone' without realising how contradictory and bitter you sound.

Talking of mods....how often do you guys re-elect them here on SZ? Or they just in power for the duration....
If you have any concerns, input or ideas for how to improve the SZ experience feel free to make a thread, obviously I'll be editing it inline with my secret agenda.
