You're seriously comparing Primark shoppers to the likes of Hitler in terms of being murderers???

Then I can no longer take seriously a single word you say.
Actually I think they're worse, what Hitler was trying would have benefited lot's of people, only Germans but still, consumers think only about themselves, their own private interests, their lives benefit nobody just further extend the profits of multi-national corporations and maintain the status quo with passive violence which has effects all over the world every day.

So people shop at the cheapest shops because they're skint so it's their fault?
:conf:
If Hitler or Stalin did things that helped a lot of people they did it at the expense of millions of innocent people who died.
The two things are clearly incomparable.
No they just consume, they don't create nobody knows how to make clothes so they shop at exploitative multi nationals because it's cheaper to look like some prick off the telly that way, they don't think ethically, they buy "High street fashion" that looks like designer but is way cheaper because it's made by kids in sweatshops :D

It's sod all to do with ethics people who are skint will spend their money as frugally as they can.
There are all sorts of ethical dilemmas behind so many products do you know all of them?
Do you find that you are forced to forgo ethics when you're skint?
They moan about immigrants and benefits scroungers

This is getting into sweeping generalisation after a few drinks mode...
Who are these supposedly innocent people Stalin was supposed to have murdered?
He never had anything like the Holocaust going on, the two people are clearly only compared to each other by utterly banal noobs.

Actually, I just Googled it & it turns out you're right.
Both blokes were good, local blokes wanting the best for local folk. Sorry for my newbie talk there.

Why do you want to know where I got my clothes, I really don't go shopping all that often, I get some shit from supermarkets etc, but I would never buy things that are made by slave labour.

Depends what I need and where it's on offer, I don't mean I buy clothing or anything from the supermarkets other than food items or cling film etc.

Unless they didn't slaughter millions of people, and have been lied about and misunderstood :chuckle:

I don't know if they were psycopaths or mass murderers, I mean it's easier for someone to order generals to conduct show trials and mass purges of communists, trade Unionists, anarchists and Trotskyists from the government, than to kill somebody.

They ordered mass murder basically, it's a product of their alienated nature from the act and the people they target.

A 7 year old would say something like "they were psychopathz they waz the bad guyz, they killed lotzof peoples" it's nonsense, they probably never killed anyone personally, they ordered death, there are very few political leaders that haven't almost none in history.
It's a reflection of human nature, these mass state machines reflect the humans from which they were comprised, the actual historical events are not a mere reflection of 1 individual's mindstate, you're looking at it inside out a little.

where are you making up this scenario from that people are going there all the time? what percentage of people are doing this?
I very rarely go shopping - I wear clothes until they're absolutely fucked. Some people might like to spend a bit more money on clothes to do stuff like, you know, get a girlfriend & stuff. So what? I mean when you start to view people who blindly & unwittingly fund slave labour (although the UN is a a slave plantation anyway so we're all part of it) as being worse than mass genocide by lunatics I can only conclude that you've totally lost your mind!

People have to buy clothes that have been made in sweatshops because there simply isn't an alternative.
I tend to wear clothes for years... I have one pair of two year old jeans, a jacket that's about three years old, one pair of boots which I bought around 2000/2001, a few cheap T-shirts that are over a year old. I'm not a constant consumer of clothing, I'll wear stuff for as long as it lasts.

why not buy your clothes from a charity shop or a charity jumble sale or a yard sale or from somebody not using them?

Why not steal sweat shop made clothes and burn them outside the store and destroy shops that sell slave labour products?

Stuff from charity shops has probably come from a sweatshop somewhere down the line, depends what people donate. The only upside to that would be not putting money into the sweatshop machine, more like a recycling thing.

As for stealing clothes and burning them outside shops and destroying shops...
