It's never going to be enough.

First of all it was £100,000. Then it was £300,000 which they got. The reports don't even show all the donations they recieved. Now 7 weeks later they need another £400,000. So £300,000 only kept them going for 7 weeks and now another £400,000 is needed to keep going? It's simply not going to work.


And what really scares me is seeing people on here talking about how they are selling things off to get extra money, people on benefits giving more after they have already donated. People giving more of their wages away and they don't even realize that if £400,000 is reached, what happens 7 weeks later? Is it going to be enough? Probably not. And there is no way it will close down within days. It will be here in February don't worry.



And unfortunately for David, on here and on many other places where TPV is openly being talked about right now, a lot of those people are right. The could have done so much more with just the basic £100,000. Many people here rightly used Alex Jones' Infowars business as an example of how to start off for a few hours every day in a small studio and then get the advertisers and over time build it up. David's reputation right now is not good and I think he knows it. There is no point blaming it's failure on those that didn't donate. What people are asking outside this forum is how over £300,000 isn't enough to get them over this hurdle after only 7 weeks and why even MORE money is needed, £400,000, so now we are heading to £1 million and if it isn't given then it's off air in a 'few days'. It doesn't add up. People know it doesn't add up but I understand why some of you wont say so on here.

The statement was for those who visit the website, probably don't donate and bitch about anything to do with those that ARE making a difference, of which most are doing it voluntary.

He categorically states that those that are able to donate, some obviously can't, that it does not apply to them.

The answer is simple, donate, if you can, if you FEEL you want to do something, if you don't fine, just don't disrupt those that are trying to make a difference.
