Amazing. This was a story made for April Fools day. They used footage from people smoking shatter (a cannabis concentrate) and changed it to bed bugs.
Guess who's shared it as a factual story? TPV! I honestly believe a group of college kids could do better than TPV with a quarter of the budget and half as many staff.
Warning!!! User may offer a differing opinion. If in doubt, accuse of shilling.

I thought that myself, the site it was on it was posted April 7th so I was unsure and didn't check any deeper.
I notice TPV are now streaming on Youtube instead of thier normal method of streaming.
Anyone know what that [Start Free Trial] button is all about? You need to click through to Youtube to see it.

About paid channels
You can watch paid channels on your computer, and on supported mobile devices and smart TVs. All channels include a free trial for first time subscribers and most will include some free preview videos, so you can test drive a channel before you pay.
Paid channels represent just one way for video creators to make their content available on YouTube. YouTube won’t start charging for all of the videos you can currently enjoy at no cost.
The videos included in a paid channel are uploaded by the channel’s owner. Read the channel description and check that the videos are age appropriate before you subscribe.
Subscribe to a paid Channel
View full list
Step 1 of 4
To subscribe to a paid channel, click the Start free trial button.
Step 2 of 4
Some paid channels will show ads on their videos, and some won’t. In some cases you’ll be able to pay to watch videos from a free channel without ads. See whether a channel will show ads by checking the subscription details above the Start free trial button. A channel will always clearly display whether it will show ads, so you know what you’re signing up for.
Step 3 of 4
Once you've clicked Start free trial or Subscribe, follow the steps in the window that appears to finish the purchase process.
Step 4 of 4
Once your purchase is complete, the channel will be added to your Guide, on the left side of your YouTube page.
Some subscriptions include access to multiple channels for a single monthly or annual price. If your subscription includes multiple channels, you can choose which of the included channels you’d like to add to your Guide once you've completed the subscription process outlined above.
For channels that are available individually or as part of a larger subscription, you’ll see more information about these options and you can purchase whichever subscription you like best.
Don’t worry: if you subscribe to a channel that includes access to another channel that you’re already paying for, we’ll automatically cancel the individual channel subscription at the end of the billing period. That way you won’t be charged twice.
Unsubscribe from a paid channel
If you decide to unsubscribe, click the Unsubscribe button on the channel page or the Subscription Manager – it works just like a normal YouTube channel.
If your subscription includes access to multiple channels, you can remove any included channel from your Guide without canceling your subscription to the other channels. Your subscription payment will continue until you unsubscribe from the channel you originally purchased.
If you’re paying for a single channel, unsubscribing will cancel your subscription payment. Learn more about how to cancel a subscription payment.
When you cancel a subscription, you will not be charged again for that channel (unless you decide to re-subscribe). You’ll still have access to all the videos in the channel until the end of the current billing period.

It seems they are streaming up to 720p now.

Thanks for that SilvaRizla. I thought it might be something like that. I tried clicking the button to see what it was all about but google were insisting that I change to my gmail address (google plus account - I think) in order to do that. So I came out of it.
Bloody cheek. And yeah its very funny because it shows number of viewers, which is way less than TPV would have us believe - especially considering that this is linked on DI Headlines page and TPV website as well as Youtube.
I found out about TPV using Youtube streaming because someone on DIF was complaining that they couldn't access it from thier country even though they are a donator to TPV.
Many paid videos and channels are only available to purchase in one or a few countries. If something isn't available for purchase in your country, you can still find it on the site, read its description and watch any free preview videos that are available. The channels available in your country may include videos that are not in your native language. Check the channel description for more information.
As most paid channels include a free trial period, you can preview the videos before you pay.
You can watch any paid channel you're subscribed to from the same country you purchased it in. If you leave that country, you may not be able to watch any of the videos on that channel.
What a fucking disgrace. Just when you think they couldn't possibly get any lower.
Indigogo need informing straight away, this was never part of the deal. Something legal needs to happen now.
I very much doubt Indigogo would do anything, they are making a fortune out of TPV's donators.
4% of the £300,000, 9% out of the new year campaign, and 9% out of the current one.
"This paid channel is unavailable in your country." half a million wasn't enough apparently, and the 3rd indigogo campaign isn't doing too well, a kickstarter maybe? I doubt indigogo would let them run the 4th one.
Meh, I think I can live without that pile of shyte anyway.
Talking about complete incompetence, I don't think those at TPV have any clue wtf they are doing.

Kickstarter wouldn't have anything to do with them right from the off. They went to kickstarter first but got turned down. Thats why they are using Indiegogo.

I contacted them anyway. If they don't do anything then it also brings their name into disrepute.
