You don't have the capacity to recognise rational, critical thinking, you make your mind up and then censor anything that may prove you incorrect, you are preventing yourself from thinking at all, I would guess it's as a defence mechanism against facing up to what you have done to your children.
"Who do you think's going to spend time reading any of that shit if it's led you to draw the conclusions you've presented here?"
You've failed to grasp so many comments in the thread from people speaking of common-sense practicalities, that it seems pointless attempting to educate you.
Re the bolded bit - shove your encyclopedia of BS up your imbecilic arse, and come back & tell us about it when you've tried rearing children by the methods you advocate.
The fact that rearing children may be difficult is not an excuse to abuse them, much like a difficult relationship is not an excuse to abuse a partner, or like it's not acceptable to abuse an elderly parent who may be suffering from dementia and acting in much the same way a child might. There is simply no moral or rational excuse for abusing people, including "common-sense practicalities".
Are you saying that lying about Santa is a form of abuse?
At best it's a form of mind control... as has been pointed out it's a bit of a game... but who for? Does the child know it's a game?
It's obvious though that kids don't come out of it mentally scarred, so even that I think is a bit of a stretch.
But for me, it's just not anarchy to tell your kids lies about Santa.

Traditions.... eearggh!
Yeah, I think it has a lot of potential to destroy trust between a parent and child, my personal experience of Santa and Jesus left me with the impression that my parents were both incompetent and liars by the time I was eight or so.
It left a big impression on me, I think it leaves a similar impression on most people, but that's just my experience and opinion.
I'm not suggesting most parents go into it intentionally trying to hurt the child, I think it's just unconscious repetition of culture for the most part, it is certainly used as behaviour modification for the benefit of the parent in the same way as religion is, mind control really isn't too far off, you are controlling the thoughts of the child by lying, in order to control their behaviour.
"You better watch out
You better not cry
You better not pout
I'm telling you why
Santa Claus is coming to town
Santa Claus is coming to town
Santa Claus is coming to town
He's making a list,
Checking it twice;
Gonna find out who's naughty or nice.
Santa Claus is coming to town
Santa Claus is coming to town
Santa Claus is coming to town
He sees you when you're sleeping
He knows when you're awake
He knows if you've been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake "
The concept of the design is to allow a single watchman to observe (-opticon) all (pan-) inmates of an institution without them being able to tell whether they are being watched or not. Although it is physically impossible for the single watchman to observe all cells at once, the fact that the inmates cannot know when they are being watched means that all inmates must act as though they are watched at all times, effectively controlling their own behavior constantly.
