If you genuinely believe that his complaints are about trying to do a good job for the site, you're either not paying attention, extremely naive, or just arguing for the sake of it. When BT previously complained about the news feed, Marina stated that if people wanted to be part of it they could PM her articles and she'd publish them. I know because I read this, did so, and she published them. How many has he emailed to her if he’s so concerned about how shitty the news feed is? How many threads has he started? How many positive and constructive contributions has he made? Less than one, as far as I can see. Oh, but he has found the time to attack people, create a sock puppet account, behave like a tit and play the victim. I’ve never seen anyone do that on an Internet forum before, what a fucking revelation.

He's just causing trouble, for the sake of it because that's the only reason he's here. He does not deserve your defence in the slightest. This trend of endlessly sticking up for people who only want to cause trouble must stop, IMHO.

He WAS banned as cousin frothy and he came back with a vengeance, assuring us he's a "changed man", taking the piss and playing us all. He's not here to contribute to the forum, or any forum, only to derail. Chances are he has multiple accounts already, meanwhile giving us all shit for "wasting" time on the forums... ahh.... hypocrisy.
As for the news section, blue_tackler has editorial permission, he's free to post any relevant news, but he can't be bothered, nobody stopped him, and he was given a chance and welcomed by everybody here. Maybe he thinks we're not worthy of his enlightening news stories.... I dunno.
I'm just re-posting the news, NOT writing the news. one of the many that offered to do that at the time. I find something relevant I post it, when I have the time etc, and also some members pm me the news links and I would post them. The point of this is, as was discussed before with novum to have it in a layout as on TZ, not so much in your face. But we're not robots, I have a life too, so does novum... as and when that news feature is available, that will make a difference.

WUB, he has/had the same permission as I have to post news. He managed to lock up the article about Fukushima, can't unlock it, can't delete it, and it's him, because it's his e-mail on top and he admitted it's one of his emails. How on earth he managed to do that? No idea, I can't replicate that action. I believe he still has permission to post news, unless novum removed that.

I don't know why you're sticking up for him, Dub. After I very much wanted to give him the opportunity to have another crack at it, I regret it, because he's proven that he's in no way appreciative of this community. Only today or yesterday he's written about everyone (including himself) who posts on forums is idiotic for doing so. Well he should fuck off then, because whether that's his genuine opinion, or whether it's just an attempt to slag everybody, with the get out clause that it's OK because he included himself, is debatable, but either way, his presence when he chooses to act that way is detrimental to the Sanctity of this place.

I personally think it's far from idiotic to interact with people from all over the world, who I wouldn't be able to have contact with were it not for the forum. It goes right against the grain to me to say we should let people stay to avoid them plaguing the place in socks. Nope, that's just giving them their own way - rewarding shitty behaviour. Touch wood, we've not been blighted so much with returning buffoons since the recent changes to new memberships were introduced. If someone's here to be a dick, get rid, I say, and if they come back, get rid again.

We can all get ratty with each other on occasion - but usually in context with the subject under discussion. But out of the blue insults at someone who isn't even present isn't on.
Also, even after a spat, most people have the decency to apologise; genuinely. All I'm seeing from BT is - oh well, thats me, like it or lump it. That shows a certain arrogance and lack of understanding of other people.
