I'm not hugely interested in looking at this, but I'm glad I've seen the video of the parent laughing when they should have been completely cut up, making a very odd statement, and then quite clearly rehearsing to get into character. I don't know what this means, and I do suspect that however much energy people put into it that it will be impossible to get to the bottom of what happened.

I just find if incredible, and I don't mean this personally, that people want to explain this video away as being a plausible reaction under the circumstances. Also, regarding the sensitivity of the issue, I'm far more concerned about the FBI stating that they'll prosecute anyone that openly questions their version of events. What kind of sensitivity does this show to the families involved? Or Obama's completely phony show of grief for that matter. I think it's legitimate to ask questions regarding what occurred, particularly when we know what a bad job the mainstream media - particularly the broadcast media - perennially does of holding the establishment to account in any way at all.

Maybe you laughed because grandpa was gong to the happy hunting ground. We are talking about a child being murdered and since I don't see where the study you posted talks about what type of bereavement has happened it is kind of a mute point.

Did you see where Mr Parker worked himself up into a lather?

Well, I would challenge you to find a post on JREF where someone concedes that this was inappropriate. I can find maybe twelve where people are defending it or explaining it away.

But, anyway, let's not get into this again.

I do think with the smiling that it looks highly odd that he smiles and is joking around, then asks the assembled people when he's supposed to start, then seems to rehearse appearing shocked and distraught. The whole thing to me looks like a performance and not a particularly good one. I would pretty much agree with the observations made in this video, particularly interesting observations as well regarding no tears, no indication in the eyes whatsoever that he's upset, yet his voice is suggestive that he's trying to swallow back the tears and compose himself:



Of course, anyone is welcome to disagree and it's completely impossible to prove it one way or another, it's not really worth discussing in that sense. I just don't think people should be condemned for asking questions about what occurred because I certainly don't expect the commercial broadcast media in particular to do anything other than repeat official statements.

No, I just wanted to laugh without knowing why I wanted to laugh. I think it was a reaction to all the sombre people around me and finding it difficult to see my mum crying (which she never does as a rule).

That poor fucking guy has not only suddenly lost a child, he's been thrust in front of the media as part of the biggest story of the day - no the article is not talking about that - but common sense tells you his experience is going to be more extreme than a typical bereavement.

What I don't get is how come everybody is suddenly an expert on exactly how he should behave and if he doesn't conform to expectations he's suddenly deeply suspect. If I put myself in his shoes, I reckon my head would be all over the fucking place - I reckon my sense of reality would be totally up shit creek. Let alone nobody knows if he has been given any kind of medication, been drinking, whatever.

It's trial by youtube - he doesn't have the mandated facial expressions in a clip and so he's guilty (of something).

People often use laughter as a defense mechanism. It is a plausible explanation. I think you watch too many soap operas where bad guys laugh just before they do something deceptive. He obviously prepared what to say and then asked if he should read it. My wife was on local news once. It was an unusual experience not everyday and no dead children were involved yet the news broadcast itself has an effect on you and you could tell. If you have been talking about something then go to talk about the murder of your daughter then you will obviously become upset. It is being claimed he worked himself up but I believe it was the topic and situation that did that.

LOL. The reffers do my head in. A lot - not all - seem to think the woo police will arrest them if they say anything slightly unconventional. I also feel sorry for truthers on there because they get mobbed. They do tend to know their shit on 911 though. And I'm sure I've seen some of them be critical of the commission in the past.

Another thing about that guy that hasn't been mentioned is the commonality of nervous laughter.

And sure it looks like a bad performance - ordinary people on telly often do look like that. Because they're not performers. It seems he's being deemed to be an actor on the basis he can't act.

Why is it that people question the parents and media and the president and mention bank scandals and gun control but nobody really has a theory about how it all links together. I have been asked to explain all kinds of things like smiles etc and yet nobody has offered a guess even as to the point of this conspiracy. Is it all to get the father to testify about something? Was it a huge operation by the president to introduce a gun law even though somebody could just introduce a bill or they could have used James Holmes or any other shooting event recently, they are common here you know?

I was under the impression they found a shotgun in the boot of the car...not the murder weapon. The cop looks like he's probably wearing gloves, but the footage is not the clearest.

It was funny actually. A dog kennel down the street had been closed for health inspection issues and my wife said " I think they should all go to jail" and she was just funny unintentionally and did not seem like herself. I didn't know her as a child but have seen photos. They could be fake though. She seems too short to be the same person.

Well....I was under the impression that they found a 'long rifle' in the boot of a car and that this was the murder weapon :D

Clearly the video footage does indeed show a shotgun which afaik does not fire .223 machine gun rounds and if left in the boot of a car could not have been the murder weapon.

So where is this murder weapon? Do we have bullets that match the scoring on the barrel and do we have lanzas prints on it?

All this should have been very quickly known. I guess we're not worthy of knowing lol.
