The first time I know of that a video showed police corruption was the Rodney King case where a video surfaced, I think days after the event, completely disputing what the police reports stated.

But I can't imagine the police would plant evidence.

I'm sure there have been other captured moments, even earlier, maybe not on video, though.

Are you suggesting the media was lying in saying it was a 'long rifle' when it was actually a shotgun for some inscrutable reason? If it was all a big cover up, do you not think it would be pre-decided what the murder weapon was and where it was?

I would guess the murder weapon is in an evidence locker. That's where they usually put things like that I think. I don't think failing to put it in a perspex box on the steps of the White House for all to behold is indicative of a conspiracy.

As for the forensics - fuck knows. Given it would appear to have been immediately obvious on the scene who the shooter was and given so many children died, I don't find it remotely suspicious that the media has not been focused on fingerprint analyses. What you're saying is that because the media haven't told you something you demand to know, that's automatically suspicious.
This is indicative of conspiracy overdrive - typically if the news reports somebody being shot, people don't fall over themselves saying well have they tested the weapon for fingerprints?!?. While it's understandable people are sceptical of the media blah blah blah, there's also the element where you have to appreciate you're not Columbo personally tasked with solving the case and it's unlikely CBS is going to publish forensic reports for your personal scrutiny.

Lets say hypothetically speaking .... some geezer shoots lanzas mum in their own house then drags in adam lanza to school all drugged up and shoots the crap out of all the kids, he then shoots lanza and puts the gun in his hand and then walks off into the woods.
He gets accidentally arrested and released without question later.
Then the media start talking complete crap about what happened without bothering to investigate and the cops aren't any the wiser in the main and the coroner is a complete inept asshole.

The govt then have an excuse to implement tougher gun regs, the public get all worked up about it, adam lanza and the kids died for nothing along with a few teachers, the real shooter gets away scot free and no-one is any the wiser.

Does this scenario seem probable in the slightest given the laughable farce we have been shown thus far?
