The point though with zombies is that they are us and we can easily become them. It is not about how skilled zombies are at feeding but how easily it is for us all to become them and you should probably not want to be them. Of course with the outbreak film or fast zombies you have the "oh shit they are fast" but they have to have other points to make their story because they don`t have that sort of atmosphere that night and dawn created(the originals of course). I actually enjoyed the remake of dawn despite the new found speed but it lost something that the original had.
As you were I just had to put in my two cents about slow zombies. For a more in depth ramble just keep pushing me.

Oh, not arguing...they both would give me a freaking heart attack! Even with the 28 Days Later zombies, anyone can become them since it's in the blood.
I kinda liked the remake(Dawn), okay. It wasn't bad but the original was definitely better.
One thing that
did bug me about 28 Days was the whole, "They're infected with rage!" I thought that was pretty cheesy. But they were redeemed in my eyes with the priest, twitching and crawling across the floor of the church. Creepy.
I also like some of the old black & white zombie flicks from way back. I can't remember the name but there was one from the 30's or 40's that had a voodoo them. Pretty cool. Oh, that reminds me- Serpent & the Rainbow is an excellent flick! I need to re-watch that!
